TVLine has learned exclusively that Brie Larson will reprise her role as the pop-culture fiend’s quirky Community companion, Rachel, for at least one Season 5 installment.
Details surrounding her return are scarce, but we can tell you she appears in the episode following Donald Glover‘s departure as Abed’s other-half, Troy Barnes. Perhaps she’ll help soften the blow?
Also tapped to appear briefly in the installment — which centers on a midterms-centered dance — are former Criminal Minds fave Paget Brewster, Terminator/True Blood/Sons of Anarchy badass Robert Patrick, musician/The Sing-Off judge Ben Folds and Kumail Nanjiani (Franklin & Bash)

Yes for Robert Patrick!
ReplyDeleteI thought Harmon hated everything about Season 4?
ReplyDeleteI actually really enjoyed Rachel, she was one of the few things I liked in Season 4 and I'm excited to see her return. I wonder how many episodes Paget Brewster is appearing in, as she's supposed to be teaching Abed sign language and this is one of the dance episodes so it doesn't seem to fit.. I Also had no idea Robert Patrick (who I don't know besides a guest appearence on Psych which I did enjoy) and Ben Folds would be appearing this year so cool.
ReplyDeleteFor me, Robert Patrick will always be the T-1000 from Terminator 2.
ReplyDeleteI never got into Terminator. I saw the first one because you kinda have to so that's why I don't recognize the name or role because I had no desire to watch any others after the first.
ReplyDeleteHe was also in the last two seasons of the X-Files (which is what I know him from).
ReplyDeleteI think you're the first person I've heard actually never get into Terminator, or at least never see T2. But to each their own. Not sure if you watched Lost but he was in one of the Sawyer episodes.
ReplyDeleteHm. Well I'm doing a rewatch of Lost actually so I'll have to look for him. I don't deny that Terminator was a pretty good movie, but it just wasn't anything special to me.
ReplyDeleteFair enough on Terminator. My forgetting of what specific Lost episode he was in is disturbing me. He was the one who directed Sawyer to a seafood vendor in Australia making him believe the vendor was the real Sawyer. Based on that I'm thinking it was the 16th episode of the 1st season.
ReplyDeleteAh ok, I just started the rewatch a few days ago so I'm not there quite yet. Thanks for the tip, it'll be nice to get another look at him.
ReplyDeleteHe does, but he also said he's not going to ignore it, he's going to continue where they left off, not pretend it never happened.
