This week, we learnt that the baby, in fact, does not belong to Severide. How surprising. Renee had a one night stand when she was in Spain. Severide is torn over the news. He and Shay decided to move in together again. Looks like things are going back to normal, I just wish that they will not continue with Shay’s pregnancy storyline again. Fingers crossed.
51 responded to a call over at Mill’s family restaurant. When they arrive on scene, Mills being the irrational boy he is, runs into the burning building alone and made it out just in time before the building exploded.
Turns out that it wasn’t an accident, the same coil that was found last week in Severide’s car was the cause of the restaurant burning up in flames. The crew decided that whoever targeted Severide from last week’s episode is targeting everyone at firehouse 51, and Severide has a hunch who that person might be: Hadley from last season. Now all Severide has to do is prove it.
Casey is going to have a lot on his plate for the next 15 months. Heather’s friend from the car accident died and she pleads guilty to DUI manslaughter. With Casey being the boys’ guardian, he has to take care of them until their mom gets released.
Shay and Dawson decided that it’s time for them to move on with their love lives. Dawson makes a bold move and asked the guy at the bar out. Something fishy is going on, because he took the keys to the cash register and opened them when Dawson went into the back of the bar. Thing is, he closes it without taking any money before Dawson returns.
Hermann is helping Mouch with his union president campaign. However, when it’s time to make the rounds at different firehouses to give his speech, Mouch crashes and burns due to nerves. Don’t worry, practice makes perfect, right?
The firehouse gets an impromptu visit from Gail McLeod, claiming that she’s making her weekly check ins. She warns them that allowing children(Andy Darden’s kid) to ride on the fire truck is a violation of CFD policy. There’s only one way she could’ve found out about this, and the crew suspects that there’s a snitch in the house. Watch your back, newcomer.
So what do you guys think of this week’s episode? Do you think this is the last we would see of Renee? What’s up with Dawson’s mystery guy? Is he going to steal all of the bar’s money? Will the crew at 51 find out who the snitch is?
Comment below!
Actually Dawson’s mystery guy is the guy who is going to be in the spinoff "Chicago PD" :) Good review nonetheless, keep it up!
ReplyDeleteI see! Do you know the name of the mystery guy? And is he a cop or something?
ReplyDeleteI don't know, but he is cast as a regular in Chicago PD, there have been several cameos on Chicago fire, with some of the polices that are in the scenes. You should check the cast of Chicago PD and you will notice them in CF and it's pretty fun, since they will probably interact with each others storylines, it's going be fun to see once Chicago PD premieres!
ReplyDeleteLoved this episode, and now must revise my earlier suspicions. I don't think that our new Squad guy is the arsonist, but i do however think he is the FH 51 snitch. I actually made a list of the people I thought could be the arsonist, and Hadley was the first one on it! I can't wait to see how this story line gets resolved! :)
ReplyDeleteHis name is Jesse Lee Soffer and he is going to be playing a detective on Chicago PD. his story arc is apparently is that he is a copy who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks
ReplyDeleteOf course we wont see Renee again bc she's busy with Mr.Reese and Mr.Finch helping stop bad guys from killing people with a machine that predicts numbers
ReplyDeleteI don't see him on the casting list??
ReplyDeleteCheck out @nbcchicagpd on twitter and Instagram. It's the official pages from nbc for the show and he is all over it. Plus Sophia Bush has been tagging him in posts as well. @jesseleesoffer on twitter/instgram
