they already caught up. if you watched closely at the beginning of 6.03, you would have noticed that the time stamp on that television read 'Oct. 7' (or something in October)
IMO: moving in with a boyfriend yes, with a boyfriend she barely met? not being very adult, I think. And another thing that came to my mind: unless Pi comes from some money, who do you think is going to pay for not only the apartment but also for the expenses from the day to day life?! I suppose it´s Castle, and in that case...moving in with a boyfriend you barely met with your dad´s money? Not being adult at all, at least not for me:)
Yeah, that's one of the things that bothers me a lot. She doesn't seem to understand the value of money at all. We saw this in 5x20 when she gave all her money away. Not really mature if you ask me. Now, if she (and Pi) had a job and paid for the rent of the apartment, it wouldn't bother me as much.
Exactly, that's the part that irks me, it's all well and good she's moving out with her boyfriend but this guy can't even afford his own razor, yet he and this bright young lady can move out, give me a break, if Castle going to Pick up the tab, then somebody should shake some sense into him!!!
I feel like Alexis is doing it just to irk her Dad...and it's totally working. This is her payback for him not talking to her first about the proposal and/or dealing with how to accept he doesn't need her the same way he once did. She is her father's daughter, so she doesn't always express her feelings the best way. Perhaps, this ep title refers to both her getting a clue about the annoying Pi and how to talk with her Dad about what she really feels.
It doesn't matter how long she knows him, she IS adult and has every right to do as she pleased. Second, maybe their plan is to WORK while studying and support themselves. No one mentioned Castle is going to pay for her separate life. Not all rich kids are dependent of their parents, you know. Sometimes she has to do things by herself, and she IS adult so how is this "being mean to her cool dad"? Or I misunderstood life's evolution and we are all spoiled brats when we grow up and leave our parents. One thing is bringing Pi to Castles place (very inappropriate!!) , another thing is move out to live with a boyfriend. I don't like Alexis at all, so I don't defend her decisions because of herself, but because it's normal life progress. I moved out when I was 18, paying for my own life expenses etc. Does that mean I betrayed my parents? Or it counts only if my parents were rich?
I´m sorry, but where exactly did I say she´s "being mean to her cool dad" or that any person that grows up and leaves their parents are "spoiled brats"?!Or that moving out at own expenses is betraying the parents? (actually that only speaks volums about the people that, like you, did so). I stand to my opinion, moving in with a boyfriend she barely knows is rushing things and not very wise, but of course she has the right to do so! And I´ll wait to see if it will be at her and Pi expenses before saying anything else...
I didn't say you said it, the first commenter in this discussion said "how could she act like that to a cool dad like Castle", or something like that, which means she's being bad, mean, whatever... so my comments was directed both ways to her and you, since you commented on my last one... Also, I'm not saying she made the wise decision, just that by doing so, she does not disrespect Castle (as the first commenter applied, not you - again)...
But never mind, lets agree to disagree on this one, since I usually agree on 99.9 % of your opinions on this site. ;)
Sorry, I took you were talking to me only:) And thanks for the last part:) (altough it seems that we actually don´t disagree that much on this one also):)
Alexis hasn't been acting smart since season 1, except that she acts like a know-it-all. Of course, look at her mom, so she's going to be a little like her.
I don't blame her on the fact that she is moving out with a bofriend (that by the way she just met), I blame her for the way she did it... it was rude and somehow I felt it disrespectful ! but hey I'm a mum and I would be very sad if one of my ckid do that to me that way... ;)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Pi...... ugh, please go away soon please? lol
ReplyDeleteSeriously though! XD
ReplyDeleteAs much as I'm not a big fan of Pi, he keeps Alexis busy and makes for some interesting conversations/moments with Kate and Rick.
ReplyDeleteAny clues how many episodes he is booked for? I'm guessing they are still catching up timewise and this is the start of the new year at school?
This is going to sound harsh but I couldn't care less about Alexis and Pi moving in together. Well, I hope it's only this one scene...
ReplyDeletethey already caught up. if you watched closely at the beginning of 6.03, you would have noticed that the time stamp on that television read 'Oct. 7' (or something in October)
ReplyDeleteI can say it now... Alexis is not as Smart as the writers put it at first...! seriously is that how she acts with a so cool dad !!

ReplyDeleteSusan Sullivan is so stunningly gorgeous!!! And Martha's wardrobe is one of my favorites, so much fun!
ReplyDeleteIs it mean that I am rooting that Pi is one of the next victims?
Please kill him off or make him volunteer to "hippies without borders" or whatever...
Wow good attention to detail! I don't usually notice things like that. I kept hearing them refer to her being in DC for a few months and that was it.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes! And the fact that she moved him in the loft without asking in the first place...Yes, she is an adult, but it is HIS home.
ReplyDeleteShe's seriously irked me for awhile.
still can't believe Alexis is dating that guy... uh
ReplyDeleteSo,maybe the title episode is about Alexis Get A Clue, about this loser dude, she's so into!!!

ReplyDeleteI mean, I HOPE this is the case...not saying it will be or should be. Love to my Castle nerds! :)

ReplyDeleteShe lives in New York; there is no way she can afford that sort of lifestyle without her dad's money.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Castle comes to grips with Alexis and Pi living together based on these photos. Though I think she could do better. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame her on the fact that she is moving out with a bofriend (that by the way she just met), I blame her for the way she did it... it was rude and somehow I felt it disrespectful ! but hey I'm a mum and I would be very sad if one of my ckid do that to me that way... ;)
ReplyDeleteHow? Being an adult and moving in with her boyfriend? Really!? How dared she grow up and wanted to live her own life!
