Brooklyn Nine-Nine - FOX Orders additional scripts

Oct 4, 2013

It’s not a back-nine order, but it’s the next best thing.

Fox has commissioned several additional scripts of its rookie Andy Samberg comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine, TVLine has learned exclusively.

The well-reviewed police satire drew a solid 6 million viewers and a 2.5 demo rating in its debut last month. Its ratings have since tapered off as its Tuesday competition has increased (in its most recent outing it notched 3.4 mil/1.4).

  1. It says nothing in this article about additional episodes.
    Scripts =/= Episodes.

  3. well lets hope the ratings rebound somewhat after that awful 1.4 for episode 2, if it can go up to around a 1.8 it should last the season (at most).

  5. B99 is a good show that's drowning on Tuesdays against brutal competition from the other networks. I hope FOX can find a place to make this show stick.

  6. I really like B99, but I have to watch it on demand because it is up against Agents of Shield.

  7. I really like it, I hope it can stop falling and maybe go up a bit. If the 18-34s are good, FOX will renew it. But I am not very hopeful. Ideally, FOX would put the show Wednesdays at 8 where it should do a more competent job away from shield and NCIS, paired with something like Enlisted. Glee should go to tuesdays at 8, it's the most female skewing show they have I guess and it's perfect counterprogramming against what is going on tuesdays at 8. It should also provide a decent lead-in for new girl. Bones could move to thurdays at 8 instead of going to fridays which makes no sense at all since it was the second highest rated hour for FOX this week (or third, I am not sure about the wednesday x factor and I am lazy to check it out)
