UPDATE: The missing words have been filled in, any of them a surprise?

Here's this weeks teasers, any guesses on the missing words? As usual I will fill them in later in the week, and my thoughts are in the comments below.

“We must all leap the bull to earn our freedom, I know you can do this”

“You think your friends ignorance justifies his actions”

“I know you think me harsh, but as queen you cannot always follow your heart

“When you have lived with thieves as long as I have, you learn to sleep with one eye open”

“It seems the queen has noticed the way Ariadne looks at you, and now she wants you dead”

“Whatever the outcome of the dance, you have earned your freedom

“You have six days to learn your craft, on the seventh you will face the bull before the king and the court”

“We must wait until he performs for the king, it must appear as if Poseidon has accepted his sacrifice”

“Or perhaps you realised there was only one way to make us work as a team”

“I think that with time Medusa will come to realise the strength of my affection for her”

“You are forgetting you are not my mother

  1. For those who have been unable to separate this show from Merlin due to the same locations being used for the opening two episodes then this one may well be for you. Yes, some of it does take place in a jail but at least it looks very different to the dungeons under Camelot, lol.

I enjoyed this a lot more than last weeks one, although I would argue that the guest cast were as fleshed out and believable after 40 minutes as the main ones are after 3 episodes. I really feel that we need an episode that concentrates more on them and/or giving stories more room to breath by extending the show to an hour, but I guess that isn't really what a fluffy Saturday evening competitor to X-Factor, or selling to overseas outlets who run adverts, is really is about.

The answer to a certain question fans asked from the first episode is hinted at very strongly this week, and it's not the conclusion that many seemed to think. Unless this is just another red herring of course, but I believe it's the right answer for now, esp as it's a get out for an icky plot that I didn't think they'd run with.

I'll be voting either Good or Great on Saturdays poll, as again this wasn't a finished copy they released for preview I'd like to see what the finished thing looks like on BBC 1 HD. Some of the cgi didn't seem to be finished, I hope it ends up looking as good as the Minotaur did as the bull jumping will look great if it does.

  3. I hope you enjoy this one, I think it's been hard for us Merlin fans to watch when they use the exact same locations. I certainly thought that this was the strongest episode yet.

  4. You have certainly kindled my interest. As I am going out on Saturday night I will watch on Sunday......Nice to hear that they have found some locations different from Merlin.
