  1. I hope he remembers that Oliver is Arrow. Would Oliver let him live if he knows his secret or will he kill him? Should be interesting.

  2. Malcolm is also confirmed to return for at least two episodes, most likely in flashbacks.

  3. thanks :D
sad that it'll just be flashbacks tough :/

  4. I'm not in favor of this. They did a good job with his two appearances in spite of Gabel's performance being to cartoonish for my taste. They've mined what they could from this character and gave us a good ending as well. I see no reason to go back again.

  5. Oh joy. I'm sorry, but in my opinion the two worst aspects of S1 was Count Vertigo and The Huntress, both writing and acting. I liked SG in 'Fringe', so I was disappointed to see his Joker/Scarecrow knockoff- I cringed and laughed in his first appearance, even if the second one was better. Gotta fault the writing as well- not only did they completely rewrite the character's backstory for no reason, but he was crazy and weird off the bat, even before he got Vertigo'ed. I hope they find a way to improve him in S2.

  6. He's the only living villain from last season that saw Oliver without the mask and Oliver decided not to kill. I'd like to see it biting him in the ass and see him with some aftermath of his new "no killing" agenda so I'm all for it.

  7. There will be plenty of opportunities for that conundrum to present itself in the wake of his new "no killing" policy so there's no reason to retread old worn out ground when they can just as easily explore this problem with a new character who possesses more potential.

  8. Awesome! I love Seth Gabel and was hoping for a return.

  9. I'll say the same thing I said when he was announced to return in Unfinished Business. Stupid. His first episode as the powerful drug dealer that Oliver had to stop was a good episode. The whole concept of him being in the show in a vegetated state is pointless.

  10. I don't think he will be in a vegetated state when we next see him..

  11. Agreed.

Residual "good feels" from Fringe aside, Gabel's performance in Season 1 was the worst in a season of iffy performances.

  12. Yep. Gabel was great on Fringe and I also really liked him on Dirty Sexy Money but he simply went way too big with The Count, imo.

  13. That's my hope.

  14. His acting was terrible in season 1. I'm pretty disappointed they're bringing him back tbh.

  15. I don't even care, his portrayal of Count Vertigo was WAY to Joker-ish and felt off in the universe of Arrow. Once he would've been injected with Vertigo the portrayal could've fit but he can't up the crazy now.
I'd care more for Malcom coming back but the Count ? nah

One of best villains of the previous season. Hopefully he will remain as awesome.
