The Count is back! And from the sounds of it, they're really going for it this time.
ReplyDeleteOh god Felicity gurl whyy you always get in danger, THE COUNT! im glad to see him again it`s a great villian!
ReplyDeletedear god!
ReplyDeleteA must-see one!
ReplyDeleteSounds really intense, but honestly, I think I've loved it since I heard the title.
Wow, Marc G. is really doing the most this season in writers' room it appears. This sounds like an action packed episode, where we won't be able to catch our breath for 60 minutes, just the way I like it. So my guess is that The Count is working with Blood because this past episode the stuff The Mayor got shot up with looked like Vertigo.
ReplyDeleteSounds amazing. Arrow is really turning it up for November sweeps it seems. Cannot wait for this one.
ReplyDeleteSounds really exciting, they're clearly upping the ante. I don't know how I feel about seeing The Count again, Seth Gabel better tone down his performance this time. So far this character has been an annoying over-the-top caricature. Also? One hair off Felicity's head and you're DEAD, amigo.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, maybe someone knows the American legal system well enough to explain this to me. How is it possible to seek the death penalty for Moira? The Undertaking was not her plan. I don't even remember her taking an active part in its execution. She kept quiet, true, but not preventing a crime - even such mass murder - is not at all the same thing as actively committing it. And finally, there's the whole issue of her being under duress because of Malcom's threats. It just doesn't seem like she committed any crime that people get capital punishment for. Or is it possible for the justice department to seek the death penalty whenever it wants, depending on the circumstances?
This seems interesting on all fronts. Despite the "no killing" thing, I hope someone finishes The Count off for good this time.
ReplyDeleteExcited!!!
ReplyDeleteNo, Felicity, why did you have to suck?
ReplyDeleteI was okay with Olicity, although I wasn't rooting for it to happen. But for Felicity to actually serve as an hindrance all for the sake of an Olicity tease (Will Oliver choose his family or Felicity?!) is exactly what I was afraid of. You shouldn't suck, Felicity! You're supposed to be smarter than this!
I think it's because so many people were killed and she was a participant (although under duress) to the plot. Also since Malcolm is "dead", Moira is the scapegoat; the public would be furious if she were to walk free so easily. Capital punishment does seem a little harsh, but they're probably thinking "a life for a life" kind of thing.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all of that. I'm just not sure it's legally possible to go for the death penalty in this type of situation. But as I said I'm unfamiliar with the American legal system.
ReplyDeleteI too am unfamiliar with the legalities for a situation such as this, but I just figure it's TV/comic book land where anything is possible :p
ReplyDeleteI would love to see the count more like his new version on the comics, it should be more interesting...
ReplyDeletePerhaps jail doesn't really work for the Count. It may be time to take him out, Seth Gabel or not.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds intense.
