"Lance (Paul Blackthorne) learns a criminal named Barton Mathis (guest star Michael Eklund), whom he put away years ago, broke out of prison during the quake and is back to torturing and murdering women. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) offers herself as bait so Arrow (Stephen Amell), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lance can catch this villain, but the plan goes awry. Furious, Mathis kidnaps Laurel (Katie Cassidy) in retaliation and plans to murder her while Lance watches. Meanwhile, Thea (Willa Holland) and Oliver are stunned when District Attorney Adam Donner (guest star Dylan Bruce) seeks the death penalty for Moira (Susanna Thompson). Oliver asks Roy (Colton Haynes) to help him find the Canary (Caity Lotz)."
Pretty much every article about her talked on how she is "darker" this season. We knew for quite some time that she "Does quite a bit of things, both good and bad this season". Then few weeks ago we found out that she is going to try to bring down Arrow as a way to externalize all the anxiety and anger she feels for the S1 finale events And few days ago there was the article that talked about her turning towards intoxication and conflicts as a way to deal with her anger
- It's nice to see Felicity dressed more closely to the season one version of her character. - There's been plenty of Det. Lance in photos so far this season and I'm hoping that means more screen time for him. - I liked Bullet on The Killing but it'll be nice to see Bex Taylor-Klaus in a role where she can look more like a girl. - I hope Arrow knows what they're doing with this "Laurel vs. The Hood" storyline. If they don't play this right Laurel will end up with a larger opposition among viewers than she already has.
Looks like Laurel is being proactive in finding the Hood. Glad that this is Felicity as bait because if it wasn't she really needs to step up her self-defense training if she is going to be an active part of Team Arrow,
Trading victim & martyr for ungrateful, misguided hypocrite isn't necessarily an upgrade. Laurel is playing a dangerous game too. If The Hood was anyone else besides Oliver there would be nothing stopping him from getting Laurel disbarred and arrested right along with him for all the times she collaborated with him if she was to ever actually apprehend him.
She's already a hypocrite as we've seen many times with her father. However I agree that she would have problems if the Hood were not Oliver, given their collusion.
Lance is pretty much Like Gordon who see Batman as a good guy unlike the rest of the department......he eventually will get promoted back at some point
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Wow, I love the fact that Lance and Team Arrow are working together. Thanks for the pictures.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Arrow is coming to meet Laurel and she brings the cops to catch him.

There will be more to this episode than the press release reveals and I don't think this pictures are from Laurel's kidnapping.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it, I just don't f****** get it!!!
ReplyDeleteAfter all the times that he saved her ass, why the f*** does Laurel want to bring down Arrow?
Is it possible that some of these pictures are from Identity? The episode description of that one mentions Laurel making plans to catch The Hood.

ReplyDeleteAt least it has her in an active role instead of making her the victim or the martyr.
