Still feel like the guy will turn out to be expendable to her and she will throw him under the bus to prove her (fake)loyalty to Shield, thus eliminating the suspicions before the big midseason betrayal comes.
Also, Wade was so obvious in that scene, it makes me question why he is such a bad agent. Didn't Wade get an espionage score as high as Romanov/Black Widow? The show shouldn't have so prematurely stated how great an agent he is. Because so far, Wade only seems like "the muscle", with all brawn and no brain.
Yes, he has been all "muscle" up to know. The only time that he used a bit of his brain was when he noticed that the guerrilla guys weren't drinking their liquor... but even a trained monkey could have noticed that. Anyway, at least he is easy on the eyes.
You brought up some good points. I actually hope Skye is a double agent, just because it would make SHIELD and Coulson look like a more formidable, effective, and intelligent agency. It makes the team, SHIELD, and Coulson look really bad if Skye so easily fooled them, while they're none the wiser.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oh Skye, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal.
ReplyDeleteOh hey Julian!
ReplyDeleteDid not see that coming, I'll be honest. Interesting...
ReplyDeleteThis is intriguing.

Am I the only one who noticed he had his shirt back on right after she took it off?
ReplyDeleteOoo...Interesting turn of events.

WHich makes more sense if it IS set up and Skye is undercover for now.
ReplyDeleteI am not so sure of her betrayal, but I would appreciate it, since it would make the storyline less predictable.
ReplyDeleteThe whole "hacker-suddenly-turned-into-loyal-agent" bit seemed too cliché for me and even when they played with the possibility of a betrayal (gravitonium episode), I didn't buy it because I thought the obvious thing was to make her loyal to shield.
I believe that if she is indeed crossing Shield... the series will get a bit more interesting for a while.
I am still not sold on the idea that she is indeed a "double agent", she could just as well be playing the guy... I'll wait and see.

ReplyDeleteHmm, I don't know, since he doesn't have the required "adorable little hands" Fitz would appreciate on a alarm-dismantelling-monkey.
ReplyDeletePoor Brooke...
