    I love that Caroline (the mom) really is pregnant. "Father of the Bride Part II' scenarios are hilarious and one of my favorite genres.

    Does nobody in this family know how to use birth control? I don't say that having the mother and daughter pregnant at the same time won't be funny and I can totally see the daughter getting pregnant, but the mother being unexpectedly pregnant too is really stretching it.

    Birth control is never 100% foolproof, though. And she's older and they probably thought their days of having kids were over.

    My other question is does anyone in this family understand the importance of timing. The daughter texts that she's pregnant during his graduation speech. The mom while her husband is driving. What happened to telling important info face-to-face?

    The twist that the mom was pregnant too at the end of the pilot was the biggest shock I've had so far from any new show. It can be comedy gold but it can also turn stale very quickly. They are going to have to walk a very tight line here.
