Like The Originals, it looks like the writers are playing off movie titles with one book title thrown in there. I don't remember that from previous seasons, or perhaps I just never noticed?
ReplyDeleteTVD has borrowed and taken liberties with titles from film, TV, music, and literature plenty of times before:
ReplyDelete"Friday Night Bites", "Children of the Damned", "A Few Good Men", "Bad Moon Rising", "The Sun Also Rises", "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Do Not Go Gentle", "A View to a Kill" etc. etc.

ReplyDeleteWow they gave every single episode a Movie title!! What's that about??? I mean i didn't mind the first one who cuz i felt it was just a ref. to KW and of course about the details we already knew about the episode. The others, well I'm def. looking forward to For whom the Bell tolls, Monster's Ball, and Original sin!! Aw hell who am i kidding? I'm looking forward to the whole season, lmao
