I actually liked how they chose something that wasn't so dark and grim for once. I'm sure the show will be a lot like Arrow in tone, as it should be, but a little humor and lightness can go a long way. Just not too much. I'm looking at you, Smallville.
Isn't that Pretty Little Liar Spencer aka Troian who Stephen (still find it funny Robbie Amell is playing a character who has the same name as his brother) wakes up next to and screams? I LOVE IT!!! Always enjoyed Peyton List on ATWT and other shows so I'm sure I'll LOVE her as Cara!
My objection isn't about the tone or mood of the music. My objection lies with the fact that the tone of the music doesn't pair well with the visuals. As an extreme example, it's like using the Benny Hill theme as a new title sequence for NBC's Hannibal.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
The music they chose for this promo doesn't fit well at all.
ReplyDeleteIt's too distracting.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about this show...

ReplyDeleteI'm going to give the show a try. I don't expect it to be wonderful, but it's something to watch.

ReplyDeleteYup... still looks good...
ReplyDeleteI think they were trying more for the hopeful "Stephen is our saviour" approach, hence the more upbeat music, but I do get your point....
ReplyDeleteoh my god, that would be the best thing ever. I hope someone reads your post and makes it
