I could've quite easily gone the other way, but my votes go to Homeland and to House
ReplyDeletereally tough today love all four shows but went with x files and person of interest
ReplyDeletePretty easy for me today. Person of Interest, for me, destroys Homeland all around. Then I watched House and didn't watch X-Files, so my vote there went to House.
ReplyDeleteVery tough.
ReplyDeleteHad to go with POI and X-Files
Double H
ReplyDeleteHomeland and House baby!!!!!!!!
Person of Interest and The X-Files. The X-Files definitely deserves to beat House, its one of the greatest shows of all time.
ReplyDeleteUgh, as much as I love Homeland I voted for Person of Interest because I look forward to it each week more often. Second poll easily goes to X-Files.
ReplyDeleteJust The X-Files.
ReplyDeleteEasy for me today Person of Interest (Homeland season 2 was so-so for me) and X-Files
ReplyDeletePOI and of course X-Files
ReplyDeleteNothing for me, today.
ReplyDeletePOI and House.
ReplyDeleteHouse and Homeland.
ReplyDeleteMy picks are POI and X-Files
ReplyDeleteOh man how could you pit POI against Homeland? Now that is just so cruel Adam!!! ...Now that i got that out of my system i vote for Person of Interest and The X-Files!
ReplyDeleteTough choices today. I had to go with PoI which is one of my favourite shows, even though Homeland has two of the best performances on TV right now.. On the other poll, i picked House because i liked it more from start to finish while i can't say the same for The X-Files.
ReplyDeletecouple of toughies, but I went for POI, and X files
ReplyDeleteHomeland and The X Files for me, although I have seen some of PoI and House and enjoyed them too.
ReplyDeleteFirst poll, Person of Interest. And in the second poll, one of the best TV series ever: House :)
ReplyDeletePOI and House, but both choices were hard.
ReplyDeleteI actually think Homeland is a better show than POI, but this is a "favourite show" poll, and I love POI.
House x X-Files? Well, House because I hated the whole Mulder abduction bs (not because of shipping, it just annoyed me).
you are goddamn right !!! Person of Interest ftw !!!
ReplyDeleteToday it's Homeland for me. I'm catching up with it, and maaan... that show is good!
ReplyDeleteAnother easy round for me. Person of Interest because i still have not seen Homeland and I really like PoI. X-Files because it was one of my first TV obsessions and because every time Dr. House came on, I had to turn the channel 5 minutes later. House was a much better show to me without House.
ReplyDeletePOI and X-Files.
ReplyDeleteHomeland and House.
ReplyDeleteThe X-Files. Still watching today.
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest and The X Files.
ReplyDeleteperson of interest and house for me.
ReplyDeleteLove POI, but my vote has to go to Homeland.
ReplyDeleteNo contest for me. POI ftw. Have you SEEN the work this cast & crew does every week?Love Hugh Laurie, but X-Files wins hands down.
ReplyDeleteThis one is easy for me. I really loved House and enjoying POI, but X-Files and Homeland are on my top ten for Favorite TV shows. Ever.
ReplyDeleteX-Files is MY second TV obsession (Twin Peaks is the first one)! :-)
ReplyDeleteMay I ask you how on earth is it possible that you didn't watch Homeland??
Tsss! How can you betray Homeland! And your sister screen! :-p
ReplyDeleteThis was difficult...story-wise I enjoy both of them a lot.
ReplyDeleteIt may have tripped the scale to Homeland since a season airs continuously compared to Person of Interest with all the breaks in between.
POI the perfect show..and xfiles the classic
ReplyDeleteHomeland and XFiles.
ReplyDeletemy vote goes for my only TV obsession ever .. The X Files
ReplyDeleteJust POI for me today
ReplyDeletePOI, and X-Files.
ReplyDeletePOI and Homeland for me today!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. Second season just wasn't as good until the very very end.
ReplyDeleteYa,the explosion in the finale was finally on the edge of you seat good! Seeing Saul face, wow!
ReplyDeleteHa! I don't have premium cable channels, my summer was booked more than I expected, I started teaching in a new school this fall, and I have more TV (and podcasting/writing/live tweeting about TV) on my plate than ever. I'm still holding out for winter hiatus to check out Homeland. If not, it tops the summer hiatus 2014 TV list.
ReplyDeleteWell...a few good reasons! :-)
ReplyDeleteI certainly can wait, sir! Still, I'm really interested by your point of view about this show.
First because I've always liked your reviews and your comments, even when we did disagree. (Thanks btw)
Secondly, because although Homeland is among my favorite TV series and I'm always eager to watch it, I have also some mixed feelings about it and I just can not understand exactly why. I'm looking for help to figure it out.
Thanks for the kind comments. I look forward to discussing Homeland with you. I also have some shows where something nags at me and I can't quite get it into words until I discuss it with others.
ReplyDeleteThis contest has sure been stop and start. I missed some good votes because its so erratic. Does anyone know if its still going to be finished because isn't it normal over by the time the new shows come back.
ReplyDeleteAre we ever going to finish this contest???
ReplyDeleteAdam has been away for 2 weeks, I believe he plans on starting it later today
ReplyDeleteThanks, I hate these long waits, new shows are starting and we are still trying to find a favorite..SUPERNATURAL for me. lol
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping for GOT or Supernatural but a few others won't be bad. I'm afraid the voting will be horrible because most people won't know the polls up.
ReplyDelete90% of the people access the site via twitter, Facebook and Tumblr. All posts that get posted on the site automatically go to all those destinations. It's very unlikely many people will miss it.
ReplyDeleteTrue, when these things start, they should be planned out so they come at regular times.
ReplyDeletePeople have lives outside of SpoilerTV :)
ReplyDeleteNo, Adam has been away. He'll be restarting it shortly.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the site-runners had to take a break to deal with all the premiere craziness going on. Still, it would have been good to tell us, and you're right, it's been on and off for a while now. This could have been done 2 months ago if there had been any sort of even pace to the start of polls.
ReplyDeleteI believe Adam is starting it up later today. He's been on vacation.
