    YAY Flashbacks! I didn't think we were gonna watch one of those in the first episode. I am actually more intrigued about their past than their present in New Orleans. Maybe because the Baby plot is too soap opera for me. I love the originals enough to watch, even when a baby on board!

    Rebekah did say previously that Klaus didn't trigger the curse until after he was turned. So he should have been able to turn at will - although it's possible that they didn't know that.


    Although I think he must have turned once before because Klaus told Carol Lockwood that he'd been through it twice and once was right after he broke the curse at the end of Season 2.

    I think that he turned once after triggering the curse, then Esther put the spell that blocked his werewolf nature and he killed her. There was casting call for photo double for Alice Evans, who is pregnant, so maybe we'll get Klaus turning and killing his mother in one flashback.
