    By the way...Am I the only one who sees a pattern here with the lights??Let me explain.I think blue=Heaven,orange=Hell.Dean's background is completely blue (he was always destined to be Heaven's servant and Michael's vessel and perhaps he will have to work for the Angels again if he actually makes some kind of a deal with them in order to save Sam) and right below him there's the hellish orange (he has been to Hell).Castiel,an Angel of the Lord,though a human from now on.Most of his background is blue but it's starting to mix with orange meaning he might fall into some human sins or he will have to face his own devils.Crowley,the King of Hell,almost turned human but not completely has a totally orange background but right below his heart we see a blue color emerging (he will have to face emotional conflicts when it comes to his own guilt for what he's done to everyone and he'll probably feel human pain).And last but definitely not least Sam : if you cut his picture diagonally half of him belongs with blue and the other half with orange,explaining how his nature always belonged to both sides and his balance between Evil anf Good.I don't know.It's how I see it ;)

    I thought mostly the same I never thought this would be brought up. My theories is the same as yours so I thought I'll just add. Sam have always been split for example even in s6 cover with the light. Dean is ultimately heaven's boy so the orange would represent his journey more in regards to hell. Cas is in the same boat as Sam, I think it is related to being human because it never been that intensed on him before. Sam got even more of a mixture than usual so I think this season will see more of his emotions than Dean or in other words more insight with Sam. I think Crowley is always the king of hell (not currently now) but I don't think he will be very humane, but we could see what's going on inside Crowley's twisted 'soul' and he's useful and let's admit great entertainment! :)

    I would love it if we actually got to see more of Sam's emotional POV this season, he's long overdue for it IMO. The problem with him usually being the one who has a mytharc is that we rarely ever see things from his perspective and we need to guess where his head is at most of the time. We already know that Dean's keeping a big secret from Sam, so maybe they'll be switching roles a bit this season. Dean's guilt over whatever he does to save Sam might cause him to take on a darker persona. Sam might question Dean's motivation and spend time wondering where his head is at for a change. Castiel probably will be struggling with his own morality a bit this season, too. It all comes with the package of being human. Old regrets from when he was trying to play God might come back to haunt him and new temptations could also be a problem for him to deal with. Crowley I think will have some residual guilt left over from almost being cured and I can see him relating more with Sam in this regard because Sam was the one who tried to cure him and actually witnessed his transformation back to humanity. There are so many exciting possibilities for everyone involved this season and I for one am more excited than I have been for this show in years.

    Should definately be some interactions more of Sam with Crowley. Actually, they should have a teamwork!. It would make sense of what you have pointed out, I think its more of embarassment than so much guilt, but just a little of guilt.
    I know Sam is mysterious emotionally but I would like more insight even though his actions can speak them out. I don't haveto hear the words of caring sharing but maybe direct screentime of him in regards to this.
    I don't think they will switch roles but kinda take some traits from each other to get them through whatever this secret is. I am theorising its a death secret..the Death, I hope it's not a murdering one. It wouldn't though..What if Dean chased after Metraton or some other big bad like Abbadon with one of those other hunters?. I'm rambling but I'm stickin' to Death, its too obvious but not certainn enough lol.
    And Cas, agree with you it will be interesting of his human character development.

    I don't remember which and and don't have all my magazines with me where I am living right now, but I can say it's one of the older ones with both Sam and Dean on the cover, the background behind Dean was blue, behind Sam was red. I think it was a magazine that was for Season 5 info.

    Love Mark Sheppard, but I just never quite know why he's in them until Crowley has a more defined role on the show. Last season he mostly popped up every once in a while to obsess over the tablets. This season seems even more vague.


    I know Kevin is a minor character but I'd rather see him in the photos.

    Crowley is going to be featured more prominently this season according to Carver. The guys have him captive at the MoL bunker so we're going to be seeing a lot more of him. So major storyline = promo photos for Mark I guess.

    I just hope they have more for Dean than yet more guilt and shame. The whole point of last season was supposedly Dean learning not to take blame for everything and let other people make their choices. Now we seem to be back to guilt-ridden Dean who can never move beyond his own burden and remorse.
