Pearson Darby Specter’s “divorce" brings trust issues to the forefront. Harvey (Gabriel Macht) finds himself battling Scottie (guest star Abigail Spencer) once again and Louis (Rick Hoffman) convinces Jessica (Gina Torres) to let him handle the dissolution talks. Meanwhile, Mike (Patrick J. Adams) asks Rachel (Meghan Markle) to take a big step forward in their relationship.

ReplyDeleteJust a question: if no one at the office can know about Mike and Rachel, how are they taking a step forward? I imagine moving in together would be the obvious thing to do, but that doesn't seem to be a possibility.
ReplyDeleteThat usually means marriage "take a big step" but way too fast. I think he will ask her to live together (in a new house since his house reminds her of his former sex life heh) and she will turn it down because she's going to law school

ReplyDeleteOh yeah, for sure they do, but I was under the impression it was important to keep the appearances for everyone else, because it was part of the office's policy to discourage relationships between employees. But Donna and Harvey know, that's a given.

ReplyDeleteI think Mike will ask Rachel to go public with their relationship cause synopsis to ep.10 says"Mike and Rachel are under Jessica's scrutiny."
ReplyDeleteMeghan Markle mentioned a few weeks ago that the writers actually planned to break them up in episode 10 but they liked what they were seeing too much and changed their minds. Of course, she could be throwing us off, I think that's the mid season finale so heck, they can be throwing her off
ReplyDeleteThat's not entirely correct. the writers were quotes as saying they had planned to break them up before episode 10. so they will probably still break them up in 10 or in ep 16 of winter break. then have a time jump of 3 years where she comes back and she will be Louis's associate. mike will be a senior associate with an office or junior partner. There will have to be a time jump at some point otherwise she either doesn't go to law school or leaves the show.
