Good first episode! The only thing that bother me is that you seemed a little rigid, but as it was your first time doing this it's not a surprise, you'll probably improve on that aspects as you do more videos. Anyway, great start!
ReplyDeleteLoved this! Great job! An interesting and fun way to find out a bit of everything. :D

ReplyDeleteGreat first episode CJ and Mark, congrats to both of you.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to future weeks and see what surprises you have in store ;)
Friendly advice guys. Don't talk like you are hosting a kids TV show. Also "Wraps things up" "Array" that's how people write things down, not how they actually speak. People will like it, and you better if you use normal speech patterns and language. Try not to think of it a public announcement, but write yourselves natural dialogue as if you were at home telling your parents about something they had never watched but should. That way you won't come off as patronising but will remember to inform. What is it? Why watch it? What's new? And remember you are the child we the audience are the parent, so try to be respectful and maybe funny. Well done for slowing the speech down , you got that spot on. Intelligible but not laboured. Well done over all. p.s. if you really do need to use unusual, highbrow or cliched phrases be self aware and put the emphasis on those words to show you know you are doing it. Good luck !!
ReplyDeleteIt's fantastic, CJ and Mark! Looks great, congrats! :)

ReplyDeleteGood start, I didn't miss any spoilers this week so not much news for me.
ReplyDeleteOw and like I'm not going to pay attention to the final scenes in the season finale! ;) Not much of a spoiler there since 99% of all dramas end their season with a bang :P
One tip: might want to add some on screen text (minimalistic ofc) when you are reading a list (the emmy's in this case).
some of the spoilers are not on the site (the bridge/batb). thanks for watching and the feedback
ReplyDelete;) ;) :) thank you so much ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat job guys, really liked it.
ReplyDeleteBTW, hhen Mark said The Dark Load, my mind immediately went to Voldemort.
hahah i made the same joke after he recorded that bit. I wanted to to "harry potter" in a dobby voice lol
ReplyDeleteGreat first ep, you did good guys! Will be checking out the next ones :)
ReplyDeleteNice work! Looking forward to seeing your show develop. Some of the comments already posted point out minors (not the Pits). The point is you folks are having a go! (My ears pricked when I heard your voices - South Shields here!) All my hopes.
