The Blacklist allowed NBC to win the battle of new series in the Monday 10 PM slot with a HH rating of 8%, which should result in an audience of around 13 million viewers. In second place comes ABC with the season premiere of Castle with a 7.4 HH rating. In last place, the CBS thriller Hostages scored a mere 5.1% HH, which will be around 7 million viewers. Clearly a disappointing performance
. The second episode of Sleep Hollow scored a 5.7% HH rating. At 21:30, the pilot of the new comedy " Moms "on CBS had a 5.5% HH rating.
. The Voice scored a 9.2% HH (likely 14 - 15 million viewers)
*These ratings are for Households which are a good estimate of total viewers but with no indication on demo/audience age skew. we will have Top 25 Markets demos shortly as an early estimate for demos.

Yay for The Blacklist!! Suck it, haters (referring to those at TVBTN) :D:D
ReplyDeleteI wonder what be the rating if it didn't have The Voice as a lead in.
ReplyDeleteSource please.
ReplyDeleteIt's at the end of the post.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't there when I made that comment.
ReplyDeleteFuck if I was NBC I wouldn't launch anything without The Voice behind it lol.. I really think Revolution is gunna suffer from losing that spot though
ReplyDeleteHappy for The Blacklist but disappointed for Hostages. I have to admit, when I decided to watch the pilot of Hostages I wasn't expecting much, but absolutely loved it. Hope more people tune in next week!
ReplyDeleteAlso, that site is in French.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Hostages will be the first show to get cancelled, those ratings are really bad for CBS.
ReplyDeleteThat site is mostly full of haters/trolls, what else can you expect from them?
ReplyDeleteHopefully it isnt old skewing too, i was looking forward to it but didn't watch it yet
ReplyDeleteYes, I know.
ReplyDeleteWe won't know until the early ratings come out in about 2 hrs.
ReplyDeleteshould be close to 12 mil based on HHs
ReplyDeleteThanks for your reply.
ReplyDeleteI wonder as its apparently a 'limited series' whether they will just shift it to a Friday night and let the entire season run and then quietly cancel it
ReplyDeleteI've been wondering this too. They could keep Hawaii Five-0 on Mondays, but then what will they do in midseason with Intelligence? Send H50 back to Fridays again? If Hostages does well enough in the 18-49 demo I can see them just letting it air on Mondays.
ReplyDeleteHostages looked like a cancellation to me before the premiere, but those numbers almost lock the deal. I think those big premiere numbers were to be expected for The Blacklist, but it will be interesting to see how The Blacklist's numbers do in the next few weeks.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty low for a CBS comedy premiere isn't it? Guess I will wait for the full numbers to come in....
it will probably air out all of its episodes though
ReplyDeletethey could reduce Hostages episode order and if Mom has done as bad as we think then both shows can be replaced mid season with M&M and Intelligence. H5O wouldnt be doing any better than Hostages on Monday night anway.
ReplyDeleteI mean Mob Doctor run like most of its season on the Monday and its ratings were terrible! So yes I could see it.
ReplyDeleteBlacklist was exhilarating. ..hostages wasn't..
ReplyDeleteI thought both premieres were solid. I will be following them both!
ReplyDeleteCBS is going to wait to see how the other comedies premiere. I guarantee Mom won't be the worst. I suspect We Are Men flops the most since the Millers has TBBT as a lead-in. Monday at 8:30 is where I bet Mike & Molly ends up.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the showrunner did plan a multiseason run for the show.
ReplyDeleteIf the pilot got a 1.9 (7 million), it will most likely get lower from here onwards, and I doubt CBS will keep it around at lets say 1.5 (5.5 to 6 million).
ReplyDeleteYeah we all know that good ratings is a sign of quality. Look at reality tv's numbers.
ReplyDeleteThey were both duds. Blacklist is only exhilarating if you haven't seen anything ever in your life and you can't predict every twist and turn 10 mn before they happen, and if you have very low standards regarding acting.
ReplyDelete90% of reviews will beg to differ..The plot is predictable now but the tension they built was palpable. .and the acting was definitely not bad. .But again I don't care what u think
ReplyDeleteLoved Blacklist......................bye bye Hostages.......not a fan of Colette.
ReplyDeleteWhile I love James Spader, he's the sole reason I watch The Blacklist. But that show has me nowhere near as intrigued as Hostages.
