  1. I was a bit dissapointed to be honest. Can't really put my finger on it but it just didn't feel like a SOA season premiere. Still a good episode but it didn't leave me thinking 'HOLY CRAP' Something I am used to from them.

  2. It was okay, I was bracing myself for something terrible to happened based on the Twitter reactions after critics saw the screener and yes something awful did happen and I'm not sure how I feel about a school shooting. If it has real consequences and actually leads crew to go legit then that would be good but with another season after this one to do I'm sure it won't be that easy.

  3. Man, I forgot just how dark and disturbing this show is. No happiness, just pure misery and barely any hope that any character will end up in a good place.
The school shooting seemed out of place, but there must be a reason for it.

As always I am so impressed with the actors and I for one did not mind the "slow" start. I have no doubt that we will get plenty of "holy shit" moments during this season.

  4. Wow, slow start but I still enjoyed seeing the pieces falling into place. Lots of moving parts this season. Didn't see how the school shooting was going to come into play, especially with the little boy we kept seeing throughout the whole episode.

  5. I found the show kind of boring, disturbing and confusing. I didn't understand the point in that little boy walking around all over the place. At first, I thought it was suppose to represent a young Jax. I was so wrong. I was very displeased with the fact that this, what 8/9 year old little boy was cutting himself and has this machine gun and goes and kills students and teachers at his school. As a parent with a 9 year old son and 6 year old daughter I found it in poor taste. Newtown's one year anniversary is coming up. Let's not forget this crap is still happening. I think Jax is an a$$hole and needs to be killed. Gemma is such a nasty old hag, she needs to be killed (love Katey Segal tho). Clay is an a$$hole who needs to be killed. I felt really bad for Tara. She's staying loyal to Jax, risking her life with her young sons to help him. He goes and cheats with this whore who probably has so many STD's. I hope he gets the herpes. I know it's a show, but non of these characters are likeable at this point. I may just give it up.

  6. That kid kept showing up and they made him look like a young Jax/Jax's son in the future. I thought he was gonna try to shoot Jax but he's using a gun that will bring down Samcro. Wonder who the hell he really is

  7. I was really disappointed. All the hype and ....blah. With the exception of new character introductions it was strictly mid-season filler.

Wonder if Jeremy Carver had anything to do with it?

  8. Well, I trust Kurt Sutter, other seasons have started off kind of slow and just left me stunned and wowed, so he has my trust. They have to lay the foundation, this is the opening of the third act Sutter has to tell, so I'm just going to go with it. I feel like they didn't need an extended episode however but this season is going to be a fun, dark bloody whirlwind so I think this is the breather we need before we descend into madness.

  9. I like my descents into madness at break-neck speed. Concerns me with the addition of new characters and so many existing already it'll be tough getting it all in and done. I too have faith in Sutter. (Rewatching The Shield right now.) and he has his end scene loosely plotted in his mind already.

I just get a little concerned when a 13 episode season has a "normal" episode. They're easier to hide in a show with 23 episodes.
