  1. I loved it! Great start to the season.

Emma was a little rude, but it was understandable why. And I loved all the fighting.

I tried to resist all episode, but the magical floating made me ship Henry/Pan. Oops.

And LOL at Neal telling Mulan they made a movie about her and it was actually pretty good.

    Can't wait for next week!

  2. Welp, that settles it.

EVERY Episode from now one HAS TO contain at least 15 minutes of Snow and Regina FURIOUSLY arguing with each other about various things.

Seriously that scene just about made the entire already great episode even better for me.

    5/5

  3. It was pretty good, not amazeballs or anything, but solid. I want to see lots of Neverland now, and knew from the very start that the boy Henry was with, was going to be Peter Pan. I need to see more evil from Peter though since even Rumples is supposed to be a little afraid of him.
The little bits of mermaids we saw were good too, cant' wait for Ariel!

  4. its more then Awasome !

  5. Loved it. Good solid start to the season.

Knew the boy would be Peter Pan. I thought I recognized the actor, and figured that the writers would go that route.

Liked Neal and Mulan talking and seeing Robin Hood. The movie part was funny.

Not surprised there was trouble on the ship. Got a lot of issues there.

  6. Loved this episode, great episode to start the season I can't wait to see Ariel. I like Neverland!

  7. Is it bad that I'm shipping Pan and Henry?
    Great episode

  8. I HAVEN'T CRIED SIX SECONDS INTO ANYTHING BEFORE. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? ANYTHING.

    ReplyDelete
  9. A awesome start! The episode was fast paced but very easy to follow, the storyline was great and the banter between the characters had me in stitches. AND FREAKING PAN.

    ReplyDelete
  10. No, because I'm shipping it a little too. Oops. I was trying to resist it and then they used magic to fly and that was it.

  11. "That's more like it, Charming: fillet the b!tch!" - best part of the whole damn episode!

    ReplyDelete
  12. "Filet the bitch" is going down as one of my most favorite lines ever.

  13. "An the what You win her over with your rainbow Kisses and Unicorsn stickers" EPIC LINE WAS EPIC

  14. I loved it! Great start to the season.
I especially liked that Greg and Tamara were immediately dispatched. I wasn't looking forward to seeing more of them this year though I am excited to see the actress who plays Tamara on TWD in a week!!
I loved Regina's line about "filleting" the mermaid. Haha! Always love Rumplestiltskin though I was sad to see him cry over that doll. I hate when Rumple is upset. I guess we'll learn more about that doll later.
I never read Peter Pan and don't know much about that fairytale but this version seems really evil. Haha!
Unlike some, I've never stopped enjoying this show, and this season (so far at least) seems (for me) on par w/the other seasons !

  15. That was an awesome line!

  16. bit of a busy episode and a bit predictable - kinda obvious that the Lost Boy was Pan. but I was thoroughly entertained and loved the ep

    ReplyDelete
  17. i lovesd this this episode so much especially emma speach when got neverland got me into tears

    ReplyDelete
  18. Agreed. It was too obvious. At the second he said he was Pan, I shouted with him and screamed "I knew it!" While my parents and siblings looked at me like I was crazy...

    ReplyDelete
  19. Heeheehee...fillet that mermaid! XD

    ReplyDelete
  20. Me either...I was in TEARS! "I can't be a mother..." NOOOOO!!! You can! ='(

    ReplyDelete
  21. Eww! Yuck! Shipping Henry and Peter...*barfs* umm...no...

    ReplyDelete
  22. I know, right? Snow and Regina should be locked in a room together in one episode, to try and get through being stuck together alone and fix things!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Who else here thinks Peter is hot? Or am I the only one here kinda close to his age...which would be in the lower teens/mid-teens right? Lol...
I also kinda like the guy who plays Henry. Omg...when he made the pixie dust work, I was like, BELIEVERS UNITE!!! And when Peter said how he was looking for the heart of the truest believer, I was like, umm...I'm right here Pan... but really! I grew up with Disney movies and Happy Thoughts.
My favorite line was when Regina said to Snow something about how this time that fighting the mermaid with unicorns, rainbows and happiness wouldn't work? I couldn't hear half of that 'cuz my siblings were cracking up. I was like, well, happiness, rainbows, and unicorns can work...it's Neverland. Anything's possible!
    We'll see. *winks*

  24. Who else got that feeling that Rumple and Pan are brothers? Or at least related in some way?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Dear god. This show already had one of the most annoying kid characters in TV, and now they add Peter Pan? And they interact throughout the whole episode? Godawful!

    ReplyDelete
  26. It was AWESOME!!!!!!! it was the perfect start and i really hope all the episodes are like that....

    ReplyDelete
  27. Loved the return of Mulan, Aurora and Phillip - it was about time. Can't wait to see, How M& A got Phillip's soul back. Also Hook & Emma! Enough said!

    ReplyDelete
  28. - Why the hell was Emma shackled while giving birth? It's not like she's gonna get up and attempt to escape...
    - Greg and Tamara have been played. Henry basically called them idiots, rightfully so. Glad these two are out of the picture. I didn't expect it to happen so soon, so I'm grateful the show dealt with them so quickly.
    - Love the sinister twist on the mermaids, makes me wonder what Ariel is gonna be like.
    - Sarah Bolger looked stunning! It was nice to see Prince Philip and Mulan again. Hope we'll see soon how that got his soul back from the Wraith.
    - The bantering was a lot of fun to watch, especially between Snow and Regina.

  29. Robin Hood didn't mention Marian, didn't he?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Why is Peter Pan evil? Did the writers explain why they have him going that route? I was just a little confused...someone please explain!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I ship them too :P

  32. Really nice first episode back. I like the idea that bad things happen when the characters cave into their fear and hate! Regina and Snow's fight were pretty hilarious, but is glad Emma is one that seems to have to keep them glued together...we'll except for Rumple of course!

I also really liked the FTL scenes and that story line. Mulan Rules!

Tamara and Greg were super played XD (But so was Henry, Yikes!)

Little shout outs to Lost and the upcoming Believe ( telekinetic power-changing similarity)... And Jennifer Morrison more specifically juxtaposed her birth scene in Star Trek with this flashback. (but crazy birth scenes are Bad Robot riff = Sydney Bristow on the ship, Claire in the wilderness/Sun without Jin,, Wynona Kirk in the shuttle, red Olivia in red China Town, ect)

Miss not seeing Storybrook, but they had enough on their plate in in this episode, so i'm not really complaining. ;)

  33. el capitulo estuvo genial :)

  34. What an awesome episode ! Neverland is much darker and mysterious than I had thought....

    ReplyDelete
  35. As awesome as I expected it to be!
God I missed this show so much!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I hope not, already it feels like everyone is related with everyone in this show!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I voted Great - I think it was a really good starting point for an intriguing new season, and I didn't even find Henry too annoying, which I was certain I would when it became apparent he would have his own storyline. It was also nice to see Henry's birth, as well as all the great scenes that took place on the ship - and although the whole fighting thing was a bit corny, I loved Snow and Regina's interactions.

I wonder where Rumple will be heading now? I didn't expect him to disappear from the group quite so quickly. Neal's story was also good, with some great lines about movies between him and Mulan!

All in all, a great episode that has somewhat reaffirmed my faith in a show that I was losing it for at some points in season 2. Excited for what's to come!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Could be, but Neverland clearly seems to be "the mystery box" that can pop-out things from one's past that are highly relative to the characters. I'm sure this doll related to Rumple's childhood...Maybe Pan some how relates to a fork being wedged between Rumple and his parents/father/other siblings?????

    ReplyDelete
  39. To number 1: They made a nice little reference to Kate Austen and Claire there. Kate was attached her seat on the plane when it crashed. It wasn't like Kate was going anywhere either...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Nope! He was good. I thought he had potential in POT:OST, so I'm glad he has a role with some more substance here! :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. They haven't explained it yet, but they did say they're going down the line like the rest of the characters in that, he isn't black and white "evil". He has reasons to be this way just as everyone else does.

The only thing that seems to make sense is that there has to be something with "Peter Pan's Shadow", as we see it came and took Owen's. It's seems like a juxtaposition to Rumple and his "Dark One", except that Pan's darkness can be seen on the "outside" through the shadow.

Given that there will most likely be a lot of parallels to LOST, Neverland may be the origin of magic and/or a place that deals with Death and/or life extension. It way the shadow took Greg's is also similar to what the Wraith did, which might be why we have parallel stories with Mulan and Gang and Neverland, because the mythology may be related....

  42. I thought it was supposed to be a two hour season premiere???

    ReplyDelete
  43. I've never seen Lost, so I wouldn't know about the reference, hehe.
I just thought it was weird that Emma was shackled while giving birth.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Thanks for explaining that. It definitely makes more sense now. I'm curious to see how it plays out!! I like how the writers are changing the characters from how we know them in the fairytales, makes you realize you can't assume anything you think you know which makes for a more interesting show!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Totally agree! :D

    ReplyDelete
  46. Definitely an overkill! Maybe there's something more to it???

    ReplyDelete
  47. Very good opening. I still think it had some minor problems like the overly cheesy parts (particularly in everything regarding Mary Margaret and also the excess of love between Neal and Emma out of the blue), but it was overall very solid. I liked the characters and I thought that we were back to not knowing where everything was going which was severy lacking at the end of last season. I am happy with it and I think we could have a great season. Happy to see Mullan and Aurora back. Oh and I still love Regina and Lana Parilla!

    ReplyDelete
  48. About your number 1) The words from Emma reminded me of a famous promo UK Channel 4 made for Lost, where they say "one of us is a hero..., one of us is a saint, one of us is a sinner..., one of us is a murderer..., all of us are guilty, all of us are lost". I'm really loving the potential of Neverland and the parallels with the Lost premise here.

In this place they are all necessary and only if they learn to work together they will be able to accomplish their mission.

  50. After the disappointment that was Revenge, OUAT was amazingly tight (see, that's how you shift a plot R.I.P Tamara and Greg, but your deaths where awesome!) and entertaining all around.

For some reason, I didn't realize the boy was Peter Pan lol, but it worked great, cause I was honestly surprised, and that was a good thing.

    HIGHLY quotable episode, omaigawd.

  51. I wouldn't ship anyone with Henry.

    ReplyDelete
  52. You're not the only one. I was also very impressed with this acting.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Well, that was a LOT better than I expected. Two fo the characters at the heart of my disappointment at the end of last season were quickly and summarily dealt with. Yay.

Really liked Henry's approach to dealing with the situation. I got the feeling we'll be seeing him grow up this season.

Am I the only one who had the feeling that Mulan, Sleeping Beauty and her Prince my be heading to Storybrooke before the season is over.

I am predicting that once Emma falls for Hook she'll find out Neal is alive. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  54. I thought the episode was good. I'm looking forward to some Emma and hook moments but I think a good start to the season.

  55. Liked the first episode well enough, except for the Neal/Bealfire parts... why of why were Mulan/Aurora/Philip just a delivery system for his boring ass? I couldn´t care less about him and the parts about his suddenly overwhelming love for Emma after being blissfully engaged to Tamara 5 minutes ago and having left Emma to get tossed into jail because he was a miserable coward were nauseating. Since when is statutory rape romance? 300-year old guy and a 17-year old girl? What kind of message does this send to people, young girls especially when this is the main "romantic couple" of a series about fairytales and true love? Why are they ruining Emma´s character by making her pine for a guy like this, it´s horrible...

Liked the rest of the episode, glad that little Henry had some great scenes and a shout out to JMo for the awesome opening scene, she really made me feel her pain in that scene, loved it! Regina´s one liners like "fillet the bitch" and punching Snow in her righteous mug were well worth the wait :)
