- Reese's rant about his conversation with Leona killed me!! And look at that! Charlie and Reese agreeing on something....
- Don and Elliot were also awesome. (actually, unsurprisingly, Don was stellar throughout the hour. He did everything right.)
- Mac and Sloan having Neal pull interweb errands was so much fun! - Rebecca killed it. Every scene with her was gold. I love her... if the whole law suit goes on next season I'm looking forward to seeing her more. - I think Mac is underestimating Will here. The vendetta over the cheating is personal. And he's right to still be bitter about it. But this was work and he is smart and aware enough to acknowledge that A) they were framed and that B) Jerry shoulders most of the blame. Of course he wouldn't hold this against her.
Lastly, I'll say it. Maggie and Jim are insufferable. Both of them. Entitled, spoiled, righteous and all around annoying. If they leave the show I will not miss them not one bit to tell you the truth.
About Jim and Maggie, I totally agree. Sorkin got rid of much less annoying or useless characters before, he needs to dump at least one of them so that the other can try and develop a more interesting story. I say get rid of Maggie. Since she has so many personal problems, writing her off is less of a challenge.
Can we please just have Marcia as a regular? I love her playing lawyers, it's always gold. Overall, a great episode, good moments among most of the cast. Honourable mention to Reese's rant.
He has potential, but he's pretty much only involved in Maggie's mess of a storyline atm, which doesn't help. But rest assured, I doubt Sorkin will get rid of him... it's a good actor, with a solid part to play in the story.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
What did Charlie scream after Jim and Maggie told him about the general story Jim had a lead on? I liked the episode overall.
ReplyDeleteYou mean Don and Maggie.... And I didn't really get that either...
ReplyDeleteIt sounded like "fuck alll".... Maybe frustration over it being a story about the army again...? I dunno....
I loooooooved it!
