Just to point something out, Kensi had a fiancee who suffered from PTSD quite similar to what Deeks is likely to go through. It's probably going to be really painful for her to watch it happen to someone else she loves.
I am a little disappointed that there will be no more Sam humiliating Deeks but I think it's a nice variation on things. Deeks' little speech at the end about thinking about Kensi was quite outgoing. Glad that Vaziri (presumably) and Sidorov are dead, because any more episodes with their storylines would be 'YAWN'. Happy that Janvier lived though - his obsession with G will obviously cause him to return at some point. Possibly the best scene of the episode was G shutting Javier's cell. That was awesome.
Okay so the brief exchange between Sam and Deeks in the hospital was long overdue, and quite beautiful... but did anyone else feel an exchange between Sam's wife and Deeks is expected? Deeks not only saved Sam from drowning but saved her twice. He was tortured protecting her identity and then saved her life on the roof. I felt that not only does Sam owe him everything, like he said, but she owes Deeks almost as much. I really really wanted a moment between them. I'm hoping maybe in a future episode she'll express her gratitude.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Mr Marty Deeks can be a real sweetheart at times.
ReplyDeleteDeeks is always a sweetheart!

ReplyDeleteHaven't seen the episode yet but I see the writers are keeping the 4+ one word titles in a row tradition going!
