I finally realized a few days ago that time was passing in Haven, but Lexie and William were stuck in one moment in time in the bar(n). And then I forgot about it until tonight. So William is the new Howard? And whoa at the cliffhanger!
Duke and Jennifer are so cute! I love them so much. Ugh at Duke's brother.
Poor Nathan getting all the blame. Totally not fair and you know he believes it.
Okay, so I just discovered Haven last week and this was the first episode I got to watch ''live'' (I mean, not really, since I live in Finland, but... you get my point), so I'm very excited (I could almost say I'm shaking from excitement, but I think my shaking has more to do with staying up all night.. it's 7:30 am here >_>)! I have just been anxiously waiting for a new episode! Anyways...
This episode was awesome! I really, really, really like Jennifer (and Duke). I'm happy that she's not just a love interest but actually has a bigger part to play in all of this. Duke's bro on the other hand... not so much into him. Something... something about him irks me.
I'm also glad that things are moving forward with Audrey/Lexie. She's supposed to come back next week, right?
Can't wait til next week. I am lovin' this series!
(I have a lot of thoughts bouncing around my head right now, but my brain ain't working properly so I'm not even gonna try to write them down. This comment would get way too long!)
I know there's no more barn, that doesn't mean there's no, lets call Howarda a guide since he aalways got Audrey were she was needed, so that doesn't mean there's no more guide, and since William is trying to get her to where she's needed, he's the closest thing to a new Howard we have. Unless he is James, I read that theory somewhere too. The point is I agree with Klutzy Girl, that's what he seems to me too.
I agree that William is the new Howard. The new guide and barn representative. The barn isn't a barn it's something else we don't fully understand and "Howard" or "William" is the human interface for it. I think the barn is a product of/related to the troubles and since they are still around the 'barn' is too, in some form.
I was hoping for a good explanation as to why Lexie and William were still in that bar, so I'm glad they did such a good job with the writing for that. The time aspect makes this barn explanation, and Audrey's absence from Haven, a good story that's well written. I liked how the barn reveal was done, and seeing Lexie slowly realizing it's not real. Well done!
I also really like Jennifer still. She's cute, has a mysterious but cool trouble, and fits in Haven already. Jennifer and Duke are great together so far, so I'm hoping to see more of them together.
I also still like seeing the Teague brothers bicker and hints of how they, or at least Vince, felt about Audrey. They're likely the most complicated and layered characters in Haven, at least to me. It helps that they're portrayed well.
I'm getting really anxious and impatient, waiting for Audrey to get back to Haven already, and makes things slightly more normal with everybody, esp. Nathan and the Nathan-hate.
Okay, we get it Jordan, you don't like to be troubled. So what?, no one in Haven likes it!!! Stop being an ass. And Vince, you loved Sarah, Nathan loves Audrey, was it really so difficult to understand why he did what he did?
Hmm... I really like your interpretation of Howard/William being a sort of avatar of the barn, kind of like the human impersonation of whatever the "barn" actually is.
I think he loved her, only she didn't felt the same. She had a son with another man, the same man that now he thought was responsible for her being dead. So maybe he is angry with Nathan not only for Audrey, maybe he's been mad at him for 27 years.
But now, it's just my guess. I could perfectly be wrong.
But oh man 27 years is a long time to be mad at someone because they got the girl instead of him. There's still so much about the brothers we need to learn!
Okay so now the question is, will she be back as Audrey or Lexie? And how will it be explained, how does it happen, does she get the new personality every time the barn spits her out, does she get to pick, will she be stuck with one now that the barn is destroyed, is it permanently destroyed, will there be a barn replacement , waaaah so much exciting stuff to look forward to. :D
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Can't wait until next week!
Duke and Jennifer big fan of them, I thought her character would be a non factor but she's a big help and I like her.
ReplyDeleteAgain Duke sacrificing himself for Nathan was soo amazing their friendships is one of the greatest aspects of season 3.
Poor Nathan I just want him to stop being blamed while technically it was his fault it still sucks seeing him get bashed every episode.
And Lexie glad she's snapping out of it, thought it would have been excruciating but they're handling it well.
William is not the new Howard. Howard was killed and the barn destroyed so I think that's pretty much goner.
ReplyDeleteI think what she meant was that William is Howard's replacement.

ENOUGH of the Nathan hate if it don't stop i may just stop watching . Lets reunite Naudrey already.I love Jennifer and Duke .William creeps me out .
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode tonight!
ReplyDeleteI'm a hardcore fan of Duke and Jennifer. I wanted so badly for him to hug her in the police station when she thought she was really crazy.
Wade really got on my nerves tonight what with him wanting to share ownership of The Gull with Duke.
Oddly Jordan didn't get on my nerves as much as she normally does tonight.
And yay Lexie finally believes William. I wonder where she'll land and when she'll make it back to Haven.
I know what she meant and my answer was to that lol

ReplyDeleteGuess Vince didn't really love Sarah.

Or maybe he didn't REALLY love her :P

One way or another, we'll know soon. I hope xD
ReplyDeleteI can see Nathan becoming the new Howard (as punishment for what he did, although he would be linked to Audrey that way, so not really a punishment).
ReplyDeleteYesh he had to hug her!!!
ReplyDeleteBut on the other hand it's better if they won't rush it, with him getting over Audrey and all that..
Okay so now the question is, will she be back as Audrey or Lexie? ReplyDeletetbh the idea of either of the Teagues being in love with her creeps me out, even if it was when she was Sarah.
ReplyDeleteLucas said in one of his interviews that Nathan loves Audrey no matter who she is .:)
ReplyDeleteAlso syfy confirmed on their website that Nathan is Audrey's true love .You can find it under Audrey's season 4 picture .
ReplyDeleteI think Duke's brother is going to become a major problem, especially if he picks up the same powers that Duke has.
