This season premiere was worth the wait. Hope the rest of the season is just as awesome. Loved that Meredith was Richard's medical proxy. My heart broke for the interns with the loss of Heather. Happy for April. Smiled for Owen and Christina glad they couldn't stay away from each other.
- I can't believe Cristina and Owen are at it again. Just let them go their seperate ways already. - Arizona needs to give Callie some space, not getting to see Sofia whenever she wants to is something then comes along when you cheat on your wife. - Kudos to Jackson for telling April how it is. I still prefer him with her than with Stephanie but I guess that ain't gonna happen anytime soon. I'm not sure why April is in such a rush to get married, Matthew is such a nice guy and deserves someone who doesn't have feelings for two men. - Sad to see Heather die, she was my favorite intern from the bunch but the other interns are shaping out to be quite interesting except for Shane - I just hate him.
If they get a new writing staff, and manage to write new and interesting stories, then let new seasons come.. They keep "up" the standard that was displayed in season 9. The material given to this talented group of actors is incredibly bad.. When you manage to write scenes so bad that one feels awkward when it is not supposed to be awkward, they are killing the show.. Almost every character has been written in to cartoonish idiots, that no longer resembles anything "real". When did they get the idea that the more stupid and insulting the story lines and character development gets, the better? If watching ANY of the previous seasons, and then watching this season, the quality differences SCREAMS at you. If one only write for focus groups and rating numbers, and have actors that have in their contract a set of x amount of screen time per episode, the story lines will suffer.. But as long as the producers and the Grey franchise can get payed, who cares, right? Keep this up, and they will be forced to stop.
Far from the best premiere, but still very enjoyable. I think the tension/drama of the episode and storm storyline was overplayed. But I'm so glad Richard is alive!!
The interns are starting to grow on me. They kind of remind me how our first interns (Mer et al) became a cohesive group. It was kind of nostalgic how they went out with the fireman, as a group. Dont like the Stephanie character. I still think she's an obstacle/device/incidental character to the April-Jackson plot, but that speech at the end kind of made me notice her.
It's not the Grey's Anatomy of the past. And that's Ok. Our characters have grown. Are they idiots? In some ways. No one really grows up. In my opinion the Grey's has remained true to the premise of show -- it's still about a group of healers who are, in themselves, are wounded and in need of some healing
I liked what Jackson said to April and I really think she needs to figure some stuff out, on her own, not getting herself into a marriage she's not sure about. I really like Matthew and he looks fitting for her but I really think April and Jackson belong together and mut get to a healthy relationship even if it takes them the whole season.
Pretty solid episode. Old style Grey's drama. I liked it. They are pushing the interns, but it works for the most part for me. I was a bit shocked that they actually killed Brooks even though I knew that Tina had to leave the show. I wouldn't mind the interns being pushed if all of them were like Jo and Ross. I just don't care that much about the other two. But I am warming up to them, so I'll get there. Everything else was good, I loved Meredith. I love how 10 years later she is the voice of reason of the show, who would have thought?
I hate Shonda!!! Why has she killed almost every person who is leaving the show??? Poor Brooke ;/// Also I hate new inters so much ahhh, and if old cast will decide to leave too, I wish this, 10th season could be the last one....
Nope. Cheating on your spouse has nothing to do with your love for your child. Arizona should see her daughter whenever the heck she wants, no matter if she cheated on Callie. Torres should swallow her pride and get over it.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Same quality as last year... Kill this show now..
ReplyDelete@Einar GregoriosJust stop watching then and let those of us who enjoy it continue to.
ReplyDeleteWhy waste your time commenting on a show you don't like? Why waste your time watching a show you don't like. There are better things to do with life.

ReplyDeleteMousy was an idiot for stepping in the water like that. Why would anyone think that was a good idea?
ReplyDeleteShe clearly didn't see the water. She just saw Webber and wanted to get to him asap without realizing that he was surrounded by water.
