    What an episode...
    Everyone's breaking bad. Marie's getting some very dark ideas, while Hank's planning on using Jesse in a very Heisenberg way. And god, Skyler...who's almost asking Walt to have Jesse killed.
    Very interesting episode, setting up the big change to come in the next. Can't wait.

    I do wonder, if whatever Jessie's thinking is the only way as you would think any decent lawyer could get all of Hank's evidence thrown out, if it came to that. But it did seem like Hank only told Gomez.

    While still a phenomenal episode, in a (half) season full of huge episodes and big moments this episode was probably the weakest. Each episode prior had a big scene: Hank/Walt in the garage, pretty much everything in the next episode, Jesse figuring out Walt poisoned Brock.



    But this episode had good moments but also moments where we're anticipating something to happen... yet it didn't. I mean the suspense was there, no doubt, but we didn't get a Walt/Jesse confrontation at the start nor at the end. We did get the phone call that firmly established Walt vs. Jesse, but still we didn't get an intense conversation between Walt and Jesse there. Still awesome episode, just not as strong as the previous ones.


    And I've been against Walt ever since he killed Mike, can't wait to see him go down. Now though, I'm ready to see Hank go with him. Hank was fine, held up the law and all that, but the moment he said that Jesse would be an acceptable loss if Walt killed him... that's no ok. Everyone else on the show can burn and I'd gladly watch, but I really hope Jesse gets to stand on top of the ashes.

    Jesse knows, when Walt is afraid he make crazy things. Great episode, but the next will be the good one.

    The irony here (and it's the logic criminals use, I know) is that if they'd just leave him alone, Walt would be harmless. It's just that no one can get past the reality of what he's done. The thing about these kinds of stories is that you start to come up with ways that you'd try to get away with it. You start thinking "You know, the reason the cold-blooded guy didn't get away with it is that he wasn't cold-blooded enough".

    I was terrified during those final 10 minutes, so worried this would be the end for Jesse but he lives another day and he has come out fighting and it is glorious to see that.

    I really enjoyed this episode. But at the end I kept wondering what's the deal with the disc Jesse had in Saul's car that was later taken by Walter. Does anyone have an idea about what that is?

    Just one time.
    They showed it from two perspectives., initially from Walt's where he arrived AFTER Jesse left, and then they showed it again from Jesse's perspective when Hank interrupted him.

    Shades of Grey could be the alternate title for this series!

    No character is good in the purest sense and every character does bad for one reason or another. Every viewer connects to one character more than others, but they are all guilty of doing bad things for reasons they thought were good.

    Hank has crossed over to capture Walt at any cost due to his pride being hurt by the fact that he had missed WW being the kingpin for so long. Marie and Skyler have both crossed over the line by being wiling to accept anything done in the name of protecting their families. Ironically, Walt has gone from bad to 'just trying to be good' and now his bad past is catching up to him.

    I really do not have an issue with Hank being willing to sacrifice Jesse honestly.
    He has always been willing to stretch the boundaries of the law to get his bad guy. Besides, in this case it more of an ethical situation than legal.

    Jesse's breakdown has been so sad to watch!
    He is so distraught that he was too trusting of Walter in the past that now even in a rare case of Walt not intending to screw Jesse, he cannot trust Walt. Instead of following through on Hank's plan, now he wants to go dark and really get Walt. Prison is too god for him - now he wants to hurt him. Just sad to me... I'm now on team Old Yeller and think Jesse should be put down.

    I almost hope that the series ends with Lydia testing the product of a new cook in shock since it is 99.7% pure as Walt Jr walks out of a lab somewhere saying "It's just Chemistry, bitches!" Then as he walks past the camera his pained expression transforms into a smile and his limp vanishes as he pulls a Kaiser Soze.

    And poof... He was gone. XD

    What does "pulling a Kaiser Soze" mean??

    Keyser Soze was the bad guy in the movie "The Usual Suspects" back in the mid-90's. He was feared and respected among both law enforcement and criminals because of how dangerous he was.


    One of the best villains ever, also a very good movie if you have never seen it!

    "Söze is a crime lord whose ruthlessness and influence have acquired a legendary, even mythical, status among police and criminals alike. The character has placed in numerous "best villain" lists over the years."
