ReplyDeleteI'm not over the moon about this casting but I'm not disappointed either, so I think that's a good place to be in, leaves me fairy opened minded about how the film will turn out.
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe this movie is happening. I keep expecting them to reveal it's all a big joke, and not for the reason some may think. The book is actually terribly inaccurate about the lifestyle. Just the book alone has lead to SO MANY misunderstandings.
ReplyDeleteNow they're making it into a movie for a much bigger audience who probably won't know just how inaccurate it is. This is going to cause far too much damage.
I think they are doing this movie because they probably think this will be their big break. Also other actors might have rejected this movie (like Henry Cavill and Emilia Clarke).

you are right, it could go both ways. I do like that they picked Hunnam, who is not too cheasy and a teenagers dream, but seems a little more serious. We´ll see, like you said, it could kill their career.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy about Charlie. He is a really talented actor. He's amazing on Sons of Anarchy. But Dakota? Really? She can't act. I saw Ben and Kate. And she really can't act. I get that she has famous parents. But is that a reason to cast her?
ReplyDeleteNoooooooooooo! Why would they sign up to shit?! Why Charlie? Why Dakota? In what world do they actually think this will do well? Are they serious? I can't believe they're actually moving forward with this mess... That being said, I really feel bad for Charlie. He's an underrated actor, he's actually pretty good and he really deserves to be a star...but this won't do it for him. Pacific Rim was supposed to be his big break and that didn't work out, now I'm worried this will just kill his career.
