Episode 20 ! WOW !
ReplyDeleteSo as expected the 200 episode focus on the mother's journey the last few years. They should make that an hourlong, a proper hourlong not like "The Last Page" which was two seperate episodes aired together
ReplyDeleteDaisy is probably the mother's name.
ReplyDeleteAhhh I'm so excited and sad at the same time!
ReplyDeleteI knew the 200th episode would be from the mother's point of view.
ReplyDeleteGreat and mysterious titles. I wonder why they are keeping the title for 9.12 a secret.
ReplyDeleteBen, I saw that "Major Mystery" was episode 10 previously. Is it a titled change or change in episode order.
ReplyDeleteTitle Changed. I dont see this episode title on Foxfast.com either.
ReplyDeleteSo, I guess since it's the last season they can map it out as they want without worrying they might have to emergency change stuff the audience hates, is it?
ReplyDeleteOkay, time for episode title analysis:
ReplyDeleteEpisode 9.09 - "Platonish" : Could be another episode about Ted/Robin, how Ted's friendship with Robin is not platonic, but "platonish"
Episode 9.10 - "Bass Player Wanted": This was titled Major Mystery before. Sounds like a flashback to a week before the wedding when the original band cancelled, and they had to look for a new one.
Episode 9.11 - "Mom and Dad": Robin's moms should be in this one.
Episode 9.13 - "Rehearsal Dinner": Self-explanatory
Episode 9.14 - "Slapsgiving 3": Self-explanatory
Episode 9.16 - "How Your Mother Met Me": The episode we have been wanting. The story from the mother's point of view
Episode 9.18 - "Sunrise": This episode could begin the day of the wedding (Sunday), hence the title "sunrise"
Episode 9.20 - "Daisy": The name of the mother, maybe.
So now Rehearsal Dinner is ep13, ep16 should be the 200th so based on that title it's going to be about Ted and The Mother. I wonder what Daisy's about?
ReplyDeleteI see. Thanks for replying.
ReplyDelete"How Your Mother Met Me"! That's sounds like something I have been waiting for!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited about "How your mother met me" and I wonder if "Daisy" is the mother's name or it is a red herring, and the episode is about daisy flowers or about a guest character with that name that's not the mother.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping that Daisy is not the mothers name just because I would hate to have to wait that long to find out. I thought I heard somewhere that we would find that out mid-season.. hmm I don't know but it seems like it would be hard to make it all the way to episode 20 with the mother interacting with all the characters and the name never coming up...
ReplyDeleteMy bet is that Daisy is either the daughter of Ted and Mother or Lilly and Marshall. A second child would give Lilly second thoughs on going to Rome for a year
ReplyDeleteLily's supposed to be getting drunk all weekend, so I doubt she's going to be pregnant again. I could see Ted and Mother's daughter being named Daisy (although I'm pushing for Luke and Leia. Oops). Might be The Mother's name, though.
ReplyDeleteOkay, all these titles sound interesting.
ReplyDeleteWonder if 9.14 is the wedding episode since 9.13 is Rehearsal Dinner. So excited for 9.16! And I love 9.18's title.
Wonder if Daisy is The Mother's name. I'd like it, but I'm going to be pissed if we have to wait twenty episodes just to find it out.
the slap episode is supposed to take place over the course of one slap, so I doubt that could be the wedding episode.
ReplyDeleteActually, Daisy sounds like it would more likely be the name of a Robin Daggers song. It sounds like the name of a grunge song, and I doubt that they would reveal the mothers name this early, especially if it's 20 episodes into the season. Besides, how would they do an episode from her point of view without revealing her name?
ReplyDeleteAt this point, your guess is as good as anyone's.
ReplyDeleteEpisode 9.10 is probably about the mother being a bass player (we know she is from when Ted was dating her room mate and Ted though the bass belonged to the room mate).
ReplyDeleteI think Daisy is the character name for Anna Camp's appearance and cause the scene before the wedding.
ReplyDeletei thinks it's Robin and Barney's cousin --> Cassie..
ReplyDeleteDaisy is the Daughter
ReplyDeleteI think the mother's name should be Tracy based on the season one Thanksgiving episode when Ted jokes with his kids that he met their mother at a strip club. Ted and Tracy sound perfect together, hope the writers remember that.
ReplyDeleteI really think the how your mother met me episode is simply going to show that she saw Ted be a jerk (we know he is going to do something stupid) before he met her. So it's like she met him but he didn't meet her yet. It's not going to detail her backstory because they are still toying with the idea of doing a "How I Met Your Father" spin off.
ReplyDelete12 is Bedtime Stories according to Wikipedia
ReplyDeleteIt would be pretty awesome if Lily was pregnant again. I do agree that it's probably the mother's name though.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we know. That was posted here weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteDifferent guess about 9.16 - flashback to season 1 when Ted got completely wasted. He comes across the mom in a night club, makes an ass of himself, and gets sent packing with the mystery pineapple :)
ReplyDeletePossibly although Ted states in the episodes they never found out what happened to the Pineapple. I remember reading an interview between Carter Bays and some media person and he said they learnt a huge lesson from that, i.e. that they should never write themselves into a corner. I think this will remain one of the mysteries unsolved in HIMYM.
ReplyDeleteHaha I'd love it if 'Daisy' was a red herring - it'd be classic HIMYM writing.
ReplyDeleteSo keen for Slapsgiving 3!
ReplyDeleteI read the same interview. I think we're being misdirected on this one. I'm almost sure it will be resolved :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's the daughter's name. I'm a season 1 fan who's really hoping for the mom's name to be Tracy :)
ReplyDeleteThe easiest way to do a story of her meeting him without him meeting her is to place her in the pineapple episode in season 1. He was so wasted he couldn't remember a thing...or it could just be her sitting in the econ class he was teaching by accident :)
ReplyDeleteWhat it also could be is something bigger...like showing all the times she came across him over the last 8 years and just didn't connect. The first being when he blew off that date from the dating service in favor of Robin.
ReplyDeleteActually the spin off has been confirmed "How I Met Your Dad", but it's not at all related to How I Met Your Mother and doesn't tie-in whatsoever
ReplyDeleteOr more likely his daughter's name
ReplyDeletethere should be a story about the time Ted ditched his date from "Love Solutions" company... that should be the mother.
ReplyDeleteThe mother's name is Tracy!! it was reveled way back in season 1.
ReplyDeletethe mother's name is Tracy
ReplyDeletethank you!! someone else who remembers that tid bit
ReplyDeleteif the mother isn't called Tracey, then they will have made a mistake from series 1.
ReplyDeleteits tracy. they revealed that years ago
ReplyDeleteI think tracy is the name of the mom's roommate..........im pretty sure the mom will be daisy
ReplyDeleteThe daughter's name is Penny, and the boy is Luke.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with this theory because it stems from the “Belly Full of Turkey” episode where Ted meets a stripper who introduces
ReplyDeleteherself as “Tracy,” upon which Future Ted’s narration chimes in, “and
that, kids, is how I met your mother.” The kids react with shock, and
Future Ted quickly reveals he’s kidding.
As a part-time patron of strip clubs all over the globe I have to say the 'Tracy Theory' holds little weight because strippers are known to use fake names all of the time. I took it as possibly Ted giving the stripper a hypothetical name just for laugh's sake. So the theory can't really be tested by this scene.
