Joanne Kelly, who is finishing a five-year run on Syfy’s top rated drama Warehouse 13, has been tapped for a major recurring role on the new CBS drama Hostages. She plays Vanessa, an ambitious ambassador and the sister of the First Lady of the United States (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio).

Aw, yay, I love her! Glad she's getting work.
ReplyDeleteYay! I love Joanne Kelly, I'll take her on anything as long as she continues to be on my TV.
ReplyDeleteI guess now I'll have to watch the show.
But for how long will she have work is the question, with the ratings it got this show probably won't be around for long.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, that is what I was thinking myself.
ReplyDeleteHey Syfy, I know this is asking a lot considering how many really great shows you have canceled, but don't be stupid! Bring Joanne Kelly over to Defiance and the fanbase who hasn't been tuning in to it already will likely follow! Put her in the same hemisphere as Jaime Murray and I guarantee numbers will go up.
ReplyDeleteNo the last thing Defiance needs is her on the show. Every show she's on goes down hill. Well warehouse 13 was crap from the beginning. But the dresden files and jeremiah were way better without her. Plus her character on vanished was awful.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually rather shocking that anyone agreed with you.
ReplyDeleteWhy is she such a horrible actress is what I am confused on. If you have ever watched, I mean really watched her like an actor would watch, you can see the emotion she puts behind her eyes, the differences in her actions character wise vs. person wise, and basically everything that makes a character believable into her work. I think she is actually on of the better actors on Warehouse 13 (although i agree that warehouse has gone very far downhill these last few episodes) Jaime and Joanne have actually unbelievable chemistry on and off the set and I think Defiance would benefit from Joanne's influence on the show, but then again, thats just my opinion.
