Oh, swell. Almost everyone dislikes Zoe again. I'm not really looking forward of a potential repeat of the season one dynamic. Move forward not back, Hart of Dixie.
Are they seriously just trying to hit the reset button? I liked season 1, but um...stuff has happened since then. We can't just forget it and move back. I think I'm still mad about the breaking them up by cheating thing. And the just awful way they tried to move Zoe/George back together.
Hopefully, even if they hit reset Lavon and Annabeth get to stay together.
From some of the spoilers Zoe is actually gone for 5 months and not the 3 that she said she'd be gone for. And from a spoiler that Wilson Bethel told E!, Zoe seems to have disappeared. So she at least didn't contact him in all that time. So I think that when we see the premiere his attitude may be understandable and maybe even justified.
The promo is not that bad but Zoe is still unlikeable to me. (She just expects everyone to be happy to see her after dropping them like a hot potato) Hopefully she gets some character growth this season because the whole 'I am the ultimate princess Leia at a Star Wars convention' is really getting old.
I just saw the extended promo and it leaves little room for doubt. I was being too optimistic and, unfortunately for all us viewers, your comment about not keeping personal growth was spot-on.
He'll no what just happen in this promo we don't need the same story lines again. Please this is not happen. It not going to make it next season if they keep doing this.
Agreed! Though I think the premise of the town feeling she abandoned them instead of them thinking she just doesn't fit in, might offer for some interesting new dynamics.... So I'm on a "wait and see 'till I judge" mode.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you 100%. The negative of season 1 does not excite me at all. Nor does this make me want to watch.
ReplyDeleteHopefully I'm just overreacting to the promo and things aren't what they seem to be.
ReplyDeleteThat is what I am hoping. But I would think they would want to excite us not turn us off!

The whole cheating thing would have been easier to accept if it made any damn sense.
ReplyDeletedidnt wade say he loved her and he would wait last year. i hate when they do not allow characters to keep there personal growth. ugh.
ReplyDeleteLet's not discount the horrible track record of The CW's promotion department. This promo could very well be misrepresenting the situation.
ReplyDeleteDidn't she disappear for a few months and didn't contact anyone in the town that entire time? I'd be pretty pissed too.
ReplyDeleteShe did leave for NYC for a few months but I'm not certain whether or not she contacted anyone during her absence.

ReplyDeleteI think it's been spoiled that she actually didn't... if I remember correctly....
