Wedding bells: Since April accepted Matthew's proposal — and even proposed in return — the duo will start planning their wedding. Whether their wedding actually occurs remains to be seen, but Rhimes promises there will be a wedding. "I've been planning one, so I think we're going to see one, yes," she says. "I'm not going to say a word, but we've been making plans for that kind of thing." Drew says, as of Episode 7 which they are currently shooting, that April has "been talking about the wedding and she has talked about her fiancée." But since Justin Chambers swears that Jo (Camilla Luddington) is really Alex's person, maybe his character will take a second trip down the aisle.
Cristina's exit: There is still a whole season ahead of us before Sandra Oh exits the series, but Rhimes reveals that she has figured out how Cristina will say goodbye. However, Rhimes declined to comment on whether that means Yang won't survive the season. "We're all avoiding it tremendously," Rhimes said of the idea of Oh leaving. "It's the back half of the season, so we have 22 episodes to really enjoy Cristina and love her, so we're just going to enjoy ourselves doing what we're doing now."

ReplyDeleteI'm disappointed that both arizona and callie will get new love interests,aren't they gonna fight for their marriage? I remember SHonda saying t hey were meant to be together...
It does seem fast, but when you know, I guess you know. And I love them together and can see Shonda marrying them instead of April and her paramedic.

ReplyDeleteThank you! And I don't know what type of proposal someone accepts with the person saying they still have feelings for someone else, but eh, I got her point. I let up on April a bit. A tiny bit. Her proposal through me, man. At the end, I was looking like this "O_o"
ReplyDeleteJackson was her first, and although she did him wrong (his speech was right, ppl), you have some type of feelings for your first. She didn't know how to handle them. I get that, but she still didn't have to drag him like that.
But since Matthew loves her, flaws and all, it might be them or they might elope. Jo and Alex might elope, either way. I mean, people on this show get married with sticky notes, and get married and the next day end up in the hospital (I'm coming for you, Izzie). Shonda has a way of pleasing people and pissing them off two seconds later, haha. I love it.
Both of them get new love interest? When did I miss that?

ReplyDeleteTrue. Poor Matthew. I really like him. I would have married him instantly if I got someone like him. But yeah, April still thinks like a virgin.
ReplyDeleteAlex and Jo would be bad timing but hopefully at a later point I would love to see that. I really hope it's April and Matthews wedding, I feel those two are a good fit together for the the long haul, and April and Jackson are just about the bedroom and shouldn't get married.
ReplyDeleteWay too soon for April/Jackson. They need to take a step back from each other and maybe try to work on getting their friendship back. I saw a glimpse of next week's episode where he's sitting with her when she finds out she passes her board, it seemed like a great genuine moment. I want more of that and less tension, as much as I want them together.
ReplyDeleteI ruled out April/Matthew the minute I started reading, way too predictable. Plus, the actor is moving on to another show. I'm rooting for Alex/Jo. But I agree with everyone, it's too soon. My best guess is on Webber and Mama Avery. Not exactly the power couple of the show but big things tend to happen in weddings...
many people do not like how april treated jackson, But when your friendship grows it becomes complicated and he was her first everything best friend, lover, sex partner and jackson confessed how it emotionally effected him i think this will be interesting.
