ABC declined to comment, but sources confirm that Remar will play Alex’s (Justin Chambers) estranged father.

    So looking forward to this, so i guess the side about someone getting smacked in the nose then pulled outside is most likely Alex and Jo at the bar watching his father's band.

    Can't wait! I love Alex and I think it's a really good time for him to deal with his father again. I hope this helps him to finally get off of some of his past ghosts and that guilty thing he always carried.

    I didn't know they were introducing his father, that's awesome, I love when they show more of his family. He is still my favorite character of the show!
