- The funeral takes place three days after the events of May's cliffhanger, when the lives of Morgan Brody (Elisabeth Harnois) and Jim Brass's prostitute stepdaughter, Ellie (Teal Redmann), were in jeopardy. "There is someone in there who is a member of the CSI family," McGill confirms. "It will be clear whose memorial service it is at the very end of the show, and I think it will very much be a surprise and a shock to the audience."
- Examine the photos, both from a scene that takes place at the beginning of the episode, to see who is in attendance — Russell (Ted Danson), Finlay (Elisabeth Shue), Greg (Eric Szmanda), Ecklie (Marc Vann), Brass (Paul Guilfoyle), Nick (George Eads) and Sara (Jorja Fox) — and, more important, who is not. McGill confirms that additional mourners arrive at the church later in the hour.
- The person behind last season's serial murders will also be revealed.
- This stiff won't be the episode's only recognizable casualty. "As more characters die," McGill says, "it will be interesting for the audience to question who is in the casket."

I believe it's Brass's daughter that dies cause in the promo and the pictures Ecklie wasn't sitting in the front row like Brass is and in addition to that it's Brass that's sitting right in front of the coffin.
ReplyDeleteHope it's not Morgan Brody because I really like that character, very nice addition to the show. It would be OK for me if it's Brass' daughter.
ReplyDeleteEllie is to obvious to me to be true...
ReplyDeleteHas to be Ellie, she was always a throw away actor anyway.
ReplyDeleteI agree. And they said the death would change the csi's...something like that. I dont believe Ellie is soooo important to all of the csi's. I think it's Hodges. If I have to chose someone it will be Hodges.
ReplyDeleteWhen i heard that there was going to be a funeral i thought it would be Ecklie, but obviously not
ReplyDeleteI thought of Hodges too,but he's always in the lab...Unless he started going out into the field on calls?
ReplyDeleteit's rare, but he goes into the field, but not for too long. Just to take something. I've seen him in some episodes doing that. He has some feeling for Morgan, maybe he went to the field to help everybody find Morgan. I dont know, maybe. Better him than Ellie. I dont like Hodges too much.
ReplyDeleteYour right,he has gone out. Its been so infrequent that i forgot! ;P
ReplyDeletebut I keep seeing pictures of him with the cast...it means Hodges is alive. It's somebody else. Maybe one detective. I dont want Ellie to die!!!! hhahaha
