200th Episode Will Air Later This Season
Sept. 30, 2013 – Paget Brewster will return to CRIMINAL MINDS as Emily Prentiss for its 200th episode. The milestone episode will air later this season on the CBS Television Network.
“Our 200th episode is going to be a special show,” said Executive Producer/Showrunner Erica Messer. “We can’t imagine telling this story without Paget being present.”
In the episode, glimpses into the past shed light onto what happened to JJ Jareau (A.J. Cook) during her year away from the BAU, and will also prove valuable in the team’s efforts to solve a present day case. Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson, Shemar Moore, Matthew Gray Gubler, Kirsten Vangsness and Jeanne Tripplehorn also star. Brewster starred for six seasons on CRIMINAL MINDS. Her final episode aired May 16, 2012.

Yes! I'm thrilled about this. Will be watching this episode even though I'm going to stop watching after this week's episode.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome and I am glad to hear that she will be back for an episode. It will be good to see her again.
ReplyDeleteYEEEEEEEES!!!! It will be great to see all the team together again :')
ReplyDeleteSo she's gonna be back in flashbacks? That would be lame...
ReplyDeleteDo you think it will be in flashbacks (visiting JJ when she was in pentagon) or will she be in present day?
ReplyDeleteHell yeah!! the 200 episode is gonna be so incredible!! it's certainly gonna be perfect now ;)
ReplyDeleteOh but they know how much Paget/Emily is fan favorite (not to mention it's the big 200). I don't think they're gonna show her just in flashbacks. I think we're gonna see her in present also & helping the case.
ReplyDeleteSomething happened when she was away... not sure what exactly (that's the big mystery that will be addressed and I guess resolved with the 200 episode)
ReplyDeletebut it also involves their new boss (showing up I think at episode 4). There's so many interviews/bits but I remember the bit on how the past comes back to hunt them. We'll really have to wait and see what's going on. It could be a case, could be something else these two run into... I wish I'd knew and could tell you but I'm wondering this just like you.
it's ok ill wait til episode 14 next year:( thanks
ReplyDeleteSorry I couldn't help more :( it really is a mystery. I think for bit more info/understanding you might wanna look up A.J. Cook's latest interviews. It would be better to read this stuff straight from the source ;)
ReplyDeleteYay!!! Now I can be happy. Wanted to hear a confirmation first before 'celebrating'. Glad she'll be back, but I hope it's not just flashbacks for Paget (Emily). Hope she'll appear in the present to help with the case.
ReplyDeleteYes, so either it's an old case she was working on with them back then, which doesnt make sense because they're perfectly capable of solving cases even cold ones without her, or the case somehow has them cross paths with her and her current agency(which is what? Homeland security? CIA?)
