    Exactly. And not just Breaking Bad, Dexter is also in its final season and is also on Sunday. Boardwalk is a great show, but it certainly shares viewers with both these shows.

    Completely, I think Boardwalk should be able to reclaim some viewers next month. I mean I love the show but Breaking Bad is always going to come first in viewing order.

    completely agree its going to be tough for boardwalk empire over the coming weeks , once breaking bad and dexter end it should pick up in ratings , but then again the new fall tv schedule starts soon.

    I don't think the lower ratings were simply about the stiff competition. After last years very underwhelming season, it's no surprise to me that fewer viewers are tuning in. The only thing that redeemed season three was the excellent finale.
