shut up bitch... if her attitude remains I'd rather the sister be BC, ever since first episode alley scene, I was like "ah, my heart is broken, hope there is a new girl to like from the start, yay Felicity comes to save the day, by Laurel; do what you want...".
I think a bitter Laurel is as good as any starting point for her becoming the Black Canary. I still don't give up with the character, I just hope the writers start actually try with her.
I dunno, I actually understood why she went back for the folders; many of those legal documents might be irreplaceable and Laurel's cases always seem to be pretty life or death-ey
Maybe, but even when the roof was falling down on her, she was still clutching the idiot files...everybody else made it out alright. If she had either followed immediately or dived under a table she would have been fine (and honestly, the files were safer in the drawers).
I haven't given up on the character, but certainly on the relationship. She is really the last woman on earth who should be with Oliver and the other way around. With all the baggage between them, it is just grating how the writers keep trying to sell them as star-crossed lovers. If Oliver really had been so much in love with her, he wouldn't have cheated on her in the first place. If she really had been so much in love with him and "able to see the hidden good", she wouldn't fall for his little spoiled brat act so easily. Nevertheless the writers are trying to sell to me that they are somehow meant for each other. No. Just No.
You've just voiced my opinion O.o I hope i can grow to love/like her but no way i'm supporting Oliver/Laurel, it's stupid, no woman should fall for a man that have cheated you with your sister, even if he's changed. That's inevitably a trust issue for the future.
No kidding. For a town on a known fault line, the people of Starling City were woefully unprepared in earthquake training. It was one of the few minor nitpicks I had for the finale.
I completely disagree. There is no valid reason for going for files in an emergency in my book. However, it wasn't smart to head outside in an earthquake either. We will have to agree to disagree.
I'm being facetious, of course, but I do think that's the point they tried to make; to show how selfless to a a fault she can be. And that's what I take out of it.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I hope there will be a believable explanation for Laurel's sudden change of heart.
ReplyDeleteIt will probably be as believable and smart as her going back to her office. Laurel's gonna Laurel.

ReplyDeleteAgreed, and it wasn't just Laurel returning for those files, but all people at CNRI.

ReplyDeleteMaybe she blames the Arrow for Tommy's death?

ReplyDeleteThere is nothing they can do , Katie Cassidy acting still sucks. Better casting choices next time guys
ReplyDeleteSo Laurel is part of this season after all. Too bad. Here's hoping for a major character overhaul.
ReplyDeleteThat is nothing when in a life or death situation. It was stupid and cost Tommy his life.
ReplyDeleteNo kidding. For a town on a known fault line, the people of Starling City were woefully unprepared in earthquake training. It was one of the few minor nitpicks I had for the finale.
ReplyDeleteThe writing cost Tommy his life, not Laurel's actions. She was foolhardy, yes, but she had a valid reason for trying to save those files.

ReplyDeleteClearly you are not as altrtuistic as Laurel.

Blame the writers for that. There's actually a deleted scene that explains PERFECTLY on why she HAD to do that.
