To produce the best season of White Collar USA will do 13 eps this season only, so the showrunner’s sked can accommodate both WC & Graceland

Translation: We're getting ready to cancel White Collar.
ReplyDeleteOh no! and i thought 16 were few :(
ReplyDeleteNot happy; like Gracelnd, but I'd take 22 White Collar any day!
ReplyDeleteHopefully they're all solid episodes, but when are they going to announce the official return date?
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that no matter what, this will be the last season? Maybe they'll see how the ratings are, though.
ReplyDeleteYep.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather have a full season of White Collar than any more Graceland.
ReplyDelete#disgusted
ReplyDeleteProbably but it's because of White Collar's ratings and the fact that USA is trying to branch out into new genres. It's not going to be because of Graceland like the tweet suggests.
ReplyDeleteI like them both too but yes, I would rather have 22 episodes of Mozzisms. He's the one I will miss most when the show ends.
ReplyDeleteJust when I started to watching this show. Started with the pilot yesterday and I got completely obsessed with it! I love white collar. The show should have 22 episodes not only 13-16 episodes. UGH.
ReplyDeleteThat's dissappointing.
ReplyDeleteActually it's not being cancelled look closely as says USA will do 13 episode this season only which means USA is planning keep WC. how can they accommodate Graceland as well when it only got 12 episode order lol
ReplyDeleteIt ain't ending look closely at the post.
ReplyDeleterather have 13 with better plot ^ which they say they want(best), then 16 with lots more case of the weeks with even tho i love them to all, but always get pissed at winter break , summer break split seasons. play a season all at one during the break play another series...
ReplyDeleteWhite Collar is definitely addictive. Season 2 is a real treat. Can't wait to hear what you think of it.
ReplyDeleteBurn Notice is ending, Psych might end after 8 seasons and now White Collar downgraded to 13 eps? what's wrong with USA? I used to love this network!
ReplyDeletehttp://returndates.com/news.php?id=498 White Collar return date is October 30th according to this television website. It is also going to be on Wednesday nights now.
ReplyDeleteI am afraid that these are the games networks play when they are getting ready to cancel. They move nights, shorten seasons etc..
ReplyDeleteI just hope if they do cancel White Collar l in this season they will a proper series finale.
I am so disappointed...
ReplyDeleteNo dates have been set yet. As soon as they are released they will appear in the Episode Database

Except for the intrusion of Sara episode 5, and the reset of the pilot in Forging Bonds, which really
ReplyDeletetook out the mystique of Neal Caffrey. Don't get me wrong I love White Collar despite these things,
but always thought they should have stayed closer to season 1 with the background.
Example: In Need to Know, (love that ep), Neal tells Diana that the first date he had with Kate, they pulled a con in a hotel
and order thousand dollar hamburgers. In Forging Bonds that was completely off. Another example: In the pilot Neal says he and Kate, when first
got together had nothing, and the bottle meant a promise for better times. In Forging Bonds they made it seem like Neal got to NYC, met Mozzie, pulled a con
on Adler, met Kate, and eventually got arrested. Such a different Neal than the world reknow art thief and forger, and conman. So wish they didn't
explain Neal away and changed everything in that silly flashback episode.
I love White Collar because when it is fun, it is really fun and they have given us so many great episodes.
Ok, thanks.
ReplyDeleteStill, I tend to mistrust networks that shorten seasons.
ReplyDeleteWhite Collar is not getting canceled guys, it is just a production thing I believe it.
ReplyDeleteWikipedia hasn't really updated the info it stills says USA renewed it for 16 episodes
ReplyDeleteI'd be a little surprised if Graceland gets a second season. That show's demo number is hovering only one tenth of a ratings point above Necessary Roughness and NR easily beats Graceland in total viewers every week.
ReplyDeletePretty much...
ReplyDeleteJust cause Graceland might not make it to a second season, it doesn't mean WC isn't ending...
ReplyDeleteAdd me to the "they're gearing it up for the last season bandwagon.
ReplyDeleteTruth? I'll be okay with that. I'd rather see the show go and have only fond memories of it...
Not necessarily, they did something similar with Burn Notice for a couple of seasons.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, it looks like they (mainly the writer) are loosing interest in White Collar. But then, it's only three episodes less than usual (there were never more than 16).
I hope it is not a cancellation for WC! I have just read an article somewhere else where they do not question WC or Graceland, but the whole line that USA network is taking. I recall also reading somewhere that the WC cast has a contract of 7 seasons, so maybe we are still getting 2 more seasons after all. I would be fine with a shortened season only if they promise me that the upcoming S5 is going to make me bounce from my sofa while watching it! I would be only happy if the new season turns out to be as intriguing as S2, which is the one that defiitely get me hooked to this show! Anyway, when and IF WC ends...I'm surely going to miss Mozzie and his Mozzisms :) and the irony and the style that this show has always had in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteHere I am, 16 days after to tell you that I just finished watching the whole seasons. I am SO in love with this show. Hope it doesn't get cancelled, I'll be keeping an eye on news waiting for a sixth season. Now I can't freaking wait to October 17th!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! That was fast. I am so glad that you love White Collar. It has such great characters and the interaction between them that I encourage everyone to try it. I am with you counting down the days until Oct. 17.
