    I'm not even like a constant watcher of Futurama but Jurassic Bark pretty much kills me. NewsRadio S5 premiere is just so hard to watch as the characters struggle to accept that Bill is dead whilst the actors can barely get through their lines because of Phil Hartman's untimely death.

    NewsRadio "Bill Moves On." The entire episode was basically how the cast was dealing with the real loss of actor Phil Hartman who dies a couple of months previously.

    The day Monica and Chandler proposed to each other (on Friends) [any dramatic moment on Friends, really, was simply amazing, they really did balance the dramatic, the sad and the funny). Also, the episode where Kurt's dad is sick on Glee.

    When Rachel and Ross broke up in Friends. David Schwimmer was superb... He was actually crying, I could feel his angst, I cried with him, and I'm not much of a crier. Also, and this is not dramatic sad, but it's kinda dramatic because it was't funny and it was extremely emotional (at least to me), when Dr. Cox made the speech about JD being an exceptional person and all of that. My dream was finally coming true in that moment... I've wished for so long to hear him say all of those things about his mentee (and, friend, let's face it), I was speechless (much like JD himself).

    Friends of course ! Rachel and Ross break up, Monica and Chandler getting engaged, Phoebe giving up "her" children to her brother, Phoebe's wedding ... And the series finale, I still cry when I watch it :/

    The last episode of "Blackadder goes Forth" in which the whole story led up to the characters going "over the top" to certain death As their slow motion charge into battle dissolved into the empty scarred battlefield and then into a field of scarlet Flanders poppies, I wept. Amazing writing and acting.

    My vote goes for Jurasic Bark, closely followed by "Bad News", although I think "Last Words" was quite more dramatic than "Bad News"

    I'll say the final few episodes of season 4 of Mad About You (ep. 21 - The Award to ep. 24 The Finale part 3). Paul and Jamie's marriage is falling apart and it seemed like the more they try to fix it the more it fell apart. They ended that episode arc so well but those episodes were like pure drama. Also have to mention the episodes of Happy Days where Ritchie almost dies. Henry Winkler did a great job when the Fonz is talking to god.

    For me it's easily "Luck of the Fryish" - Futurama (as long as we're not counting "My Finale" - Scrubs). That episode properly built up to its conclusion rather than just shocking you with the ending as many dramatic comedy episodes are known to do.

    If you've seen Bender's Big Score, then you'll know that the dog actually did lead a full life after Fry disappeared. Fry always eventually traveled back to the present, and Seymour spent the rest of his days with Fry (until he was quick-fossilized by a mind-controlled Bender). Those scenes we saw with him just waiting outside the restaurant were taken out of context because he was just waiting outside all of those times for the future Fry to get done with his shift at Panucci's.


    (I know that wasn't the original intention of that episode, but, yeah, all of the sadness has now been retconned out of Jurassic Bark.)

    "The Interview" M*A*S*H - The use of b&w and the lack of music or any other fake background noises along with the contrast of comedy and seriousness has made that episode stick in my memory for more than 30 years.

    I'm sorry, what was so dramatic about the guys visiting Howard's middle school and girls going to Disneyland? Did you maybe mean the next episode (The Closet Reconfiguration) with finding a letter from Howard's father?

    The only one I have watched is How I Met Your Mother, it was pretty sad. Also, Suburgatory does drama excellently for a comedy, the season 2 finale was very sad IMO.
