Thanks to Bia for the heads up.

  1. Thanks for the promo. Looks intriguing, can't wait for next week. The thing I'm curious about is the ratings of this show. Is CBS expecting the same number of viewers from season 1? (even though S1 was Sept-May). This season is during the summer (August). I'm from Australia so I don't know how this works. I have to admit I'm feeling concerned.

  2. No problem Christine.

As you say, ratings tend to be lower during the summer so a direct comparison with Season 1 is not really applicable here.

  3. Are you saying that CBS are expecting a certain amount of ratings during the summer? From your POV, what do you think of the ratings so far this season? Are they too low?

  4. One comparison would be the ratings of new episodes of Unforgettable to the ratings of reruns of the Good Wife in the same slot during the summer. Reruns of the Good Wife were getting 0.4 to 0.6 for the most part in the 18-49 demo while Unforgettable has earned 1.1 to 1.3.

My guess would be that if Unforgettable can stay above 1.0, it has a chance of renewal. The network had to know that taking the show off the air for more than a year and airing it during the summer would result in lower ratings. I think at this point it's meant to be cheap, procedural filler during the summer.

  5. Thanks for explaining this to me. Like I said before, I'm from Australia so I didn't understand how the ratings work for summer shows on networks like CBS. Really appreciate it that you took some of your time to explain and hear your POV :)
