Uh but this based on a SK book where SK is pretty mucn involved? So yeah, it is going to be very similar. It's about people and what happens to them when they're in certain predicaments. The sci fi is, overall, a small part of the focus. They're probably going to get more into the dome itself towards the finale.
This actually looks like the very first episode that will deal with how screwed these characters really are. The episodes so far made the show look like a typical CBS produceral but it seems things are starting to get more serialized now. They've done food/water to death? Really? I disagree.Their supplies are limited and the fact that they are running out will always come up unless they manage to find a way to get them from inside the dome, hence the fight for the water well and the crops. The people are preparing themselves from the worst case scenario: The Dome is there to stay. Also, UtD is not sci-fi, it's more of a drama with sci-fi and mystery elements.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
proper love this show
ReplyDeleteLooks like another boring episode.
ReplyDeleteI want sci-fi!
Looks intense and action packed.... and I think it's official: Ollie kicked Junior off the top of my kill list!
ReplyDeleteYou have never read any of SK's books have you?
ReplyDeleteExcited!
ReplyDeleteNot this one. But I don't care, I'm watching a TV Show, not reading a book. It's not the same. Different mediums and structures.
ReplyDeleteI think they're done yet the food/water/riots to death. There's no need to do it in EVERY episode. They need to move on.
If all of the characters were interesting, I won't mind. But I'm getting tired of all the "citizen problem of the week".
