Weeds alum Justin Kirk has been cast in the high-profile
FX drama pilot Tyrant , from Howard Gordon, Gideon Raff
and Craig Wright. Also cast in the project is Sibylla Deen .
Tyrant tells the story of an unassuming American family
— Barry, Molly and their kids — drawn into the workings
of a turbulent Middle East nation. Kirk will play a
sexy, decadent and mysterious American diplomat with a
hidden agenda. Deen will play Nusrat, the young bride of Ahmad.
