It’s been a
fast rise for Amelia Rose
Blaire on True Blood. She
joined the HBO vampire
drama as recurring for the
recent sixth season,
playing Governor’s
daughter and vampire-
rights-activist-turned-vampire Willa Burrell. Blaire
ended up appearing in virtually every episode
and is now being promoted to series regular.
Production on True Blood‘s seventh season is
expected to begin in December.

Didn't like her character...
ReplyDeleteAwesome. I normally complain about True Blood having too many characters but I really liked her this character and I think she fits in with the whole vampire family they have going there, so I am all for it
ReplyDeleteGreat!!!!!!! A really good adition to the show.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Karolina Wydra (Violet)?
ReplyDeleteThat's no surprise.
ReplyDeleteShe'll also be a regular.
ReplyDeleteI like her character a lot more than I did Violet so I'm okay with this.
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear this, she should have been a regular this year instead of Nicole though.
ReplyDeleteJAMES! I want Luke Grimes back full time too... Preeeeeetty please...
ReplyDeleteMe too. As long as she remains a minor character.
ReplyDeleteI like Willa, without Nora, this could be a good choice.
ReplyDeleteI think he's a regular next season too, probably along with Violet and Adilyn.
ReplyDeleteSo they kill off 2-3 people to trim the cast then add more !... Hmmm. I Like Willa tho and I think the tara/pam/Willa and Eric dynamic would be good. I don't like Violet tho.
ReplyDeleteAs Lost_At_Sea mentioned, Luke Grimes will also be a regular next season.
ReplyDeleteCool!!! I like our new additions: Willa, Violet, James, and Adaliane! Very glad, as Willa is probably my favorite of the lot and I'm looking forward to more Tara and her!!
ReplyDeleteF'AWESOME! Much to my dismay the boring Nicole will probably be one too? (Though they are all mostly the background players besides Willa and Violet, tbh and I hope it stays that way in terms of storytelling. At the same time I'm always up for some Luke Grimes gorgeousness, especially if he's shirtless! BRING IT ON.)
ReplyDeleteI liked all the 'additions' this year besides Nicole, all the other ladies got really in touch with their characters and did a decent job at the very least IMHO, though as I previously mentioned, I hope that the capacity of their appearances will be reasonable to some extent. Plus, I'm guessing Jess is with James now? :P
By the way was I the only one that got more than a sisterly vibe from her last scene with Tara? With Pam gone...etc. Or am I reading too much into this?
ReplyDeleteJurnee Smollett-Bell (Nicole) has not been upped to a regular for next season yet so you may catch a break there.
ReplyDeleteI figure the Northmans would have to add new memebers to their clan now that Godric and Nora died. And its always nice to stir the dynamics - viking warrior dad, british prostitute daughter, american southern grandchild - a little so congratulations Pam: It's a sister!
ReplyDeleteI like Violet too, she makes Jason a better man.
ReplyDeleteAdalind definitely stirred the dynamic between Jessica and Andy, I can't wait to see them protect his daughter next year.
ReplyDeleteNo, recurring I believe.
ReplyDeleteat least that's what the casting said, back when the casting call came out
ReplyDeleteShe'll be a regular. The showrunner confirmed it last week in a finale postmortem interview.
ReplyDeleteNext season will be the last so, no offense but I don't care about her at all having the last 10 episodes coming. I want to focus on Jason, Sookie, Pam (and Eric which I believe is not dead).
