cool tease. the bit about Eric daywalking and laying waste to the antivamp cops points out what I felt was a big weakness in the plot writing (unless they edited it out) in that although they developed fancy weapons and countermeasures for the glamoring, they still had nothing to counter flying and the super speed and I didn't get why all the vamps (especially the older more powerful ones) allowed themselves to be so easily taken - you can't shoot what you can't see...
Seeing as all the Vamps went into the room without blood on their mouths and then when the roof opens it looks like they have just fed! on Eric or Bill basically so they can sun walk.
Indeed if you pause the video at just the right moment (0.09) you can see James and Sarah feeding on someone arm...But whose arm is it? Tadaaa to me it looks like a woman hand, but who knows....
So Sookie is going to use her magic ball on both Warlow and Bill (at 0.30 we see them fighting). I guess Bill will be impervious to it thanks to Lilith and maybe only the vamp part of Warlow will die so he's just a regular faerie!
I didn't know about this season only having ten episodes. Now I've read about it, and it's because of Anna's pregnancy and to save money. Bit shocked about that last bit.
It kind of sounds like Sarah Newlin's voice over is prayer she;s saying as she seems to be in great agony when she is saying it!! Maybe she will be 'transformed' into something after all!!!!
And at @ 24 sec mark, is that the psychologist that has the hots for Pam? Did he get turned and then is burned to death?????
I think to be fair some of the weapons were pretty state of the art and the Vampires were caught of guard. Our Vamp characters in particular pretty much were just trying to deal with Billith initially, not really realizing what the effects of breaking down The Authority would be.
Eric was at least smart enough to escape, (Him and Pam bested the Governor), but really Willa, Tara, James, and Jessica aren't that old....But I have to wonder if there's a plot twist with Violet, because she seems pretty hard core and older????
Yeah, that's Newlin's voice. Makes sense to me considering one of the promos for the last two episodes shows Jason with a gun to her head, right up under her chin to be specific. I'm sure he'll be one of many people threatening her life in the near future.
i think warlow is protecting sookie in the first promo and in this one it looks like sookie and warlow are using their light to throw bill out? maybe just a theory and i am gonna say it and get killed but i am loving sookie with warlow i mean she can have the life she wants and still have a hot vamp by her side plus he seems more protective than bill or eric ever were they wanted to i dunno own her and it seems to me that warlow just wants her
I still don't understand why Billith needs Warlow. What's stopping him from breaking into the facility and setting all the vamps free? He's impervious to all damage AND sunlight.
I agree that it's interesting that they managed to not explain Bill's motives and/or Lilith's relationship with Warlo yet (even kind of putting Lilith on the back burner), but I did see one of Lilith's sirens in this promo, so I'm assuming something will materialize out of it before the season ends. I just am trying to figure out if Lilith's plans are here for the long haul and if that's why it's being dragged out?
But I think the season has been so much fun (minus the warewolves subplots) even without getting very far story-wise. Emotionally, I think some of the characters have been evolving nicely.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Not really, as shows go on they get more expensive. Besides, they have a big cast and the special effects.

This all looks good!!

ReplyDeleteAlso kind of liked that we had less filler.
