Cool and symbolic as this scene is, I understand why it was left out. they were already doing a pretty good job of portraying his descent into minor madness pretty well arleady
It was left out for the reasons a million things got left out. More and more and more and more commercials along with tons of bad writing/editing. Miracle they got clear even close to the season one product which was oustanding.
Show will be falling off the cliff soon unless comic book fans carry ratings. No finding out how Merle got off a locked roof, or if he stole the truck in season one instead of going back to his brother. Never any real closure because they killed off T-Dog to give a lot of not very memorable prisoners lines to go with Melissa Ponzio's complaining.
Not like anyone found out about women in Governor's bed in episode three.
Let's add a scene where graves are dug with no bodies. Let's sent out Merle to hunt Mischonne with no vehicle despite the Governor offering them to everyone.
Of course with countless scenes of everyone on guard, Merle dragged Mischonne through everyone and out the prison to appear far away from the prison.
A full day for Milton to finally tell Andrea to reach back and get the clippers while it took ten seconds for Team Woodbury to attack the prison and five to run out of there.
Some good things but this show is falling off the rails fast from a ton of bad decisions. Cut to commercial.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This scene is good!
