    Matt ought to be sufficiently down in the dumps at the beginning of the upcoming season. He's going from spending his summer touring Europe in style with Rebekah to being back in Mystic Falls where he's stuck in a mind-numbing job trying to keep a roof over his head. That will be a very difficult adjustment.

    im really surprised on the fact that they havent turn Matt into a vampire yet i thougth when Damon killed him it was the time and i say "FINALLY" and then "Boo" when i saw the ring... Matt and Rebekah make a really good couple i can see him going with Caroline to New Orleans...

    Julie Plec has always been very vocal about keeping Matt human so I don't expect that to change any time soon.

    I'm suprised that he is still alive. For me Matt is like a cockroach.
    First it was like, ok, he's got nothing to do with the storyline, but
    also doesn't make any damage, so let him live. But when I saw deaths of
    characters with potential he will never have and moreover, what this strange affection for him did with my beloved Rebekah, I started to wish him death.

    I liked Him and Rebekah together they make a good couple.... but im so surprised about that, it`s like you said he is not doing much for the storyline.. maybe is he was a vamp they could do much stuff other to be the feeding sack for his vampire friends

    I'm not speaking of this alone.. I'm speaking of the whole show it self compared to the books.. not just about one person or whatever.. just in comparing the two..and I have the books.. but I haven't read them all though
