We can exclusively reveal that CW vet Shaun Sipos (Life Unexpected, Melrose Place) has been cast on The Vampire Diaries as a new recurring character in season five.
Sipos will play Aaron, who comes to college to escape his tortured past. It's there that he meets Elena, and the two will bond over the fact that they've both experience and survived dark family tragedies. Elena attracted to a brooding and handsome stranger? Color us shocked! But also color us intrigued, please.
We also hear that it's possible Aaron will be on TVD for a lot longer than a few episodes, and we wouldn't blame Elena one bit if she fell for the guy. Sipos kind of resembles a young Brad Pitt, no? Sorry, Delena and Stelena fans. Just calling it like we see it.

Oh, you have got to be f*cking kidding me. Four full seasons of a never-ending triangle and they're going to start up a new one. Unless this is just another one of E! Online's fine examples of incompetent entertainment reporting, TVD needs to pull its collective head out of its ass right now.
ReplyDeleteWhile it would be great for them to finally end the love triangle I really don't see that happen. If he was a love interest it would only be temporary. I really hope the show follows a different path and has her end up with damon, or anyone but stefon. I like the actor, Paul Wesley, loved him on wolf lake but I can't stand stefon especially when he's with elane.

ReplyDeleteThey should call it Triangle Diaries. It´s really sad where this is all going. They got 2 characters together after 4 seasons and they put new guy to threaten this? And don´t forget about Tyler coming back and this new guy Jesse as well. Come on, what´s going on?

I'm not ruling out the incompetency option. This news already seems to contradict what Plec said about the nature of this relationship going forward and E! has embellished and/or misled readers with "scoop" like this before.
