So it turned out that Day 13 was unlucky for one of the most nominated shows for entry into the competition, as Arrow fell face first out of the running at the first hurdle. Charmed pulled off a comfortable and relatively stress free win over the superhero CW show, earning the right to take on Veronica Mars which also walked into round two without any trouble.
Today sees The Vampire Diaries, which despite claiming a final place in 2010 and a semi-final place in 2011 saw a disastrous first round exit last year to finish in 33rd place in the competition. Can it guarantee a better placing this year in this battle vs. Prison Break, a show which last year finished at a high of 15th place.
Also today we have the ever-popular Chuck & Stargate SG-1, both shows have made the competition every year of running, and both have had good and bad years. For one, today will end their chances...
For anyone who missed the rules, here they are again:
