Hi folks,

In our biggest day yet Castle and Scandal both powered their way into round two, highlighting Castle's extremely strong position as favourite for the title once again. Scandal saw Sherlock's bid for glory take a slightly surprising early exit. Watch out for the two battling it out in Round Two.

Today sees Alias and 24, two network spy/secret agent TV series' battling out for a place in Round Two, whilst Angel takes on Body of Proof in another interesting battle.

For anyone who missed the rules, here they are again:

1) Two shows will go into battle in a poll, where after exactly 24 hours, the leading show will win the battle and will progress into the next round.
2) Vote for you favourite, spread the word with your friends & fans.
3) Comment on what you voted for on in the comments below.
4) Have fun. This is a friendly & competitive competition.

    First poll was pretty difficult, as I enjoy both shows - however, I ended up voting for 24, as I feel that it had the better characters, and was slightly more gripping than Alias.


    As for the second poll, I dont really mind who wins. Voted for Body of Proof.

    wow Scandal won over Sherlock? now that surprising for me! O.o and 1st poll here is tough... in the end i voted for 24. I don't mind much the second poll but i voted for Body of proof.

    Alias. Loved 24, but loved Alias more.
    Never watched Angel and even though I watched Body of Proof, I am not convinced enough of it's quality to vote for it.

    Easily Alias and Angel.... I enjoyed 24 for the most part but Alias was much more interesting show for me. Body of Proof was mediocre for me and Angel is one of my favourite shows.

    The "A" Team today, Alias and Angel.
    While 24 was groundbreaking in many ways, it was also one of the most predictable shows on TV.. and frankly just silly at times.


    Alias wandered in its own mythology towards the end, but the first few seasons were great TV.

    WHAT????????????? Scandal won over Sherlock??????????? I hadn't even checked out the results because I was sure the Sherlock awesomness would prevail!!! Nooooo.
    I actually like Scandal, but it is no match to Sherlock.

    Angel! Season 3 & 4 were painful to sit through, but 1,2, and 5 was strong enough to make it my second favorite show behind Supernatural in this poll and probably all time

    Alias and Angel for me. 24 lost me when the cougar did not eat Kim and I have never seen Body of Proof. However I loved early seasons of Angel. It would be awesome to be able to vote for it next round too. Here's hoping it makes it.

    Scandal has been rapidly growing in popularity since the hiatus between season 1 and 2. Plus cast members of the show tweeted out the contest. I'm not really surprised that it won. It will however have a very tough battle next round when it goes against Castle.

    So, Body of Proof is in this competition? I didn't realize it had a fanbase online... Interesting.
    Alias and Angel for me. Angel was for me what Buffy was for most Whedon fans...I liked Buffy, but the darker city location was just awesome for the show.

    Scandal is actually very good, sometimes a little too soapy for my taste, but well written and acted, yet I was pretty sure Sherlock had more fans. Perhaps John's/Martin's new moustache scared them off? :P

    Extremely easy today. 24, by far the best action show that hit TV (Person of Interest is a strong contender against it), and then Angel.

    I am ashamed to admit that I have never watched Alias or 24 although both are on my to watch list so I will skip the first. As for the second, I voted for Body of Proof. I have never watched Angel and BoP was really enjoyable as a procedural, especially the third season, bummed about its cancelation

    Had to go with Alias. 24 chased me off about season 4 when I got bored with their tendency for the stories to fall apart about 3/4 of the way through the season. Alias kept me coming back nearly til the end.


    And Angel. I like Body of Proof but it was never special.

    Great, I like both of the first ones, went with 24, we need Jack Bauer in America right now.
    Second one was a no brainer for me..Angel. Don't know how Body of Proof even got in this.
