  1. More Hope Davis is always good in my book.

  2. Way to keep being objective, Dantana.

Not sure if I like Will with Nina I always think she is going to back stab him or do something shifty lol. The actress is very good tho, she went from the evil bitch type to the likable girlfriend in under 4 episodes. I still ship Will/Mac until the end of days tho, they must be endgame surely.

  4. Will and Nina were cute!! Hope that actually work out and doesn't end in disaster. They seem to be well in sync and in a good rhythm as a couple. And by then it's been what? 5 months they've been together?

Loving Don and Sloan in the second one. Trying to digest everything in their own special way....
I get Jim being skeptical, and I don't blame him. In fact it's good that he is. But for him to be there with Mac and Charlie running the meeting he should at least try to see the possibility of the story having legs.

  5. True, he is a little too sure about this, but lets be honest here.... none of the reporters on this show are really objective about stuff....

I mean one could also argue, with so many sources, isn't Jim being a little too absolute on his position too?

  6. None of the characters are objective when it comes to their political and social views but staying objective while investigating an important news story such as this is a different matter.

I'm not contesting the amount of sources they've amassed since there are plenty at this point. What I'm getting at is the fact that Dantana thought this was true when he first caught wind of it, he thought it was true when he pitched it to Mac, he felt the same when he was playing phone tag and chasing twitter feeds, and its still the same now. Since before the solid evidence he has badly wanted this story and kept pushing it as truth. He let his ambition drive this forward as much as he has let the evidence do the same.

  7. I'm not disagreeing that he's wrong in maintaining this unwavering "it's true position" and I agree it's clearly affecting the way he's researching this story, and it is making him act unprofessional.

I was just pointing out that in a show full of reporters that get rilled up about the "injustices of the world and wanting to right all the wrongs" a little too unrealistically, to me he fits right in... he's not going about the right way but I'm not surprised somebody in the world of the show is taking that position, as wrong as it may be.

And I'm simply pointing out that Jim isn't acting that much different from the opposite spectrum. He seems to be dismissing the idea, despite the information accumulated, on principle alone.

  8. You didn't see me respond about Jim because I absolutely agree with you about him. 100%. He's also in danger of becoming an insufferable sad sack but that's off topic. :)

I kept focus on Dantana because he has a history with this whereas this is Jim's first time taking this information in. My main issue is simply that Dantana is led by his ambition rather than his pursuit of the truth. That's what differentiates him from the rest of the team.

I agree.... and the fact that he sues for unlawful termination is good proof of that.
(we haven't got confirmation on the show that it is him though right?)

  10. Not that I recall, no.

  11. Didn't think so.
I can't think of who else it would be at this point though....

  12. I'm with you. I think he's the most likely candidate.

  13. lol sorry but Sloan, Don & Neal actually trying to figure out Santa's reindeer is too funny.
