from Sex & The
City alumna
Cindy Chupack
and New Girl executive producer Jake Kasdan,
has landed at Fox with a pilot production
commitment. The project is based on Chupack’s
upcoming comedic marriage memoir The Longest
Date: Life as a Wife, set to be released in January
2014 by Viking Press. It
examines the comedy and
cringe-worthy aspects of
matrimony. Chupack will write
the script and executive
produce. Kasdan is set to direct
the potential pilot and is
executive producing with his
producing partner Melvin Mar.
