The Season 3 end of The Killing pulled in an audience of 1.5 million for AMC last night. The two-hour finale of the cancelled and then resurrected crime drama garnered a 1.2 household rating. That’s up 9% from the 1.1 rating that show’s Season 2 finale on June 17, 2012 received. It is also up from the 1.4 million viewers the show garnered for its second season ender. Overall, Season 3′s average of 1.5 million viewers was essentially steady with the series’ last cycle average.

  1. Thought this one was better along with the season as a whole. And that Sarsgaard kid can act.

  2. I hope there is a renewal.

  3. Is this renewal worthy for AMC? Factoring in that it is a co-production.

  4. I´m glad they brought it back. Season 3 was pretty good and I would love to have another season.

  5. If season 1 and 2 had been along the same quality season 3 has been the ratings would have kept.

  6. Well it could be worse, it could be better. Not enough information to understand if we will get a renewal or not. I hope so, fingers crossed.

  7. They just might. They've been more hot than not with their TV series. And I'm still pissed Rubicon only lasted one season.

  8. So will it get renewed? The season is over and they haven't been renewed yet so that's a troubling sign. If they wanted to renew it shouldn't they have made an announcement by now?

  9. I think they are gonna wait until it airs on Netflix since they're supposed to put it up on their website three months after the season finale. So I think we should see an announcement shorty after November? I think that's the case.
